I’ve been trying to get the perk that allows you to buy wheel spins for 50,000 but I can’t seem to get enough skill points to unlock it and I simply don’t have the time too grind on goliath, any ideas?
Not a lot you can do but try this use rally car or buggy fit rally springs jack up to max height set dampers at max springs at max fit 2 way dif set all to 100 set power split to 50 find an open area wine fields sand dunes the pink lakes airport and go nuts do not hit trees or rocks you want to keep your skill multiplier going as long as possible have fun
Oh and by the way spins cost 75,000 each and no VIP double up
Any time my perks drop below 900 I farm them by drifting around the banana tree fields
Any drift or skills HE car works well, just limit yourself to 300k skill chains because that gives you the maximum perks (3) in a run
Highway Run Bucket lists or Highway Runs in Skills HE cars not in Bucket list (they just pull the drivatars out of the equation). Run to 50k X6 and slow down bank and then repeat.
I often drift a bit while do runs when I do them to break up the monotony - 4 runs gives you enough skill points to get a perk. (assuming you stay clean)
You can also honk your horn passing drivatars (not using Bucket list) and drift through some open fields (outback works) and get multiplier increase above 6x just do the math to be just over 300k as that is the max amount of skill points that earn you perks and bank.
If I need skill points these are my methods.
I personally wouldn’t bother spending credits on wheelspins - to each his own, I guess. I guess when my credits in the bank gets to ridiculous amounts - but even then I would probably just pick up cool paints, or HE cars from the AH.
I often make enough for the perks racing though. 'm working though completing the championships and I’ll use A class Torana HE car and make decent amount of skill points with it doing the races by keeping clean and then drive/ drift to next event enough to bank 3 more skill points or maybe do it twice so I usually end up with 20+ skill points or nore to utilize the perks for increased skill and credits while completing the achievement.
I do my races on unbeatble and minimal assists ( rewind is on but thinking about turning it off) this maximizes credits - I find the multiplier overcomes any short coming in finishing position so as along as your ego can take it - remove assists that you can live without and bump up the difficulty to earn more. Even if it means being P 2,3 or 4th. Keeping clean and letting the skills bank normally during the races is more important then bumping away, crashing into wall to get first. You’ll find you end up earning just plenty with that mindset.
why would you want to waste credits on buying wheelspins to begin with
as above they are 70k and not worth it especially without the VIP bonus which doesn’t apply either
