Best way to raise reward tier level?

Hey guys,

I am currently at tier3 in the rewards with 1300 points or so. When I first read about the points, people were saying that having played forza2, 3, 4, horizon etc significantly boost your tier level. Because of that, over the weekend I borrowed Forza2 from a friend and tried to get some achievements in it. I’ve only been able to play one night so far, but I got 35 achievement points out of 1000. The rewards overview page counts that as 18/500.

Now I also played some forza5 that same night so when I checked my rewards I saw a small boost to my overall points but could not tell how much was from the 18 points I got in Forza2 vs the ones in forza5.

I guess I was expecting to raise a whole tier level just having played Forza2 since I thought that’s what other people were saying.

Do the points from previous games count any more than points in forza5 or is it all the same? Is it worth it to go play forza2 to tier up or will I likely advance just as quickly beating all of forza5 first?

I am kind of at the point in Forza5 where I have beat most of the championships and all I have left is to buy the really expensive P and X cars but I just don’t have the cash. I was hoping for one of those million credit payouts after playing forza2…

Can somebody clarify the system for me?

Scroll Down on rewards page and you can choose one of the Forzagames, and it will tell you what badges etc you need to get more Points.

You just have to play the Forza games and complete the challenges listed on the Forza Rewards page.

Playing one older game for one night isn’t going to accomplish what you thought it would. And Forza 2 is definitely the wrong game to rack up points since there are only 500 points available and the only points you get for that game are from completing achievements. FM3 and FM2 offer the least amount of reward points. I would do FM4 and Horizon first and then, if you still wanted more points, go back to play FM2/3.

The easiest (i.e. least amount of effort) way to get points are to purchase tokens and DLC from FM4 and Horizon. Completing these achievements does cost real money but you also don’t have the play the game to get rewards points. You can get 300 rewards points for purchasing 10 tokens in FM4 and 300 rewards points for purchasing 6 tokens in Horizon. You can also get another 250 rewards points by purchasing 5 DLC packs in FM4 and 250 points for purchasing 5 DLC packs in Horizon (you could also just get the season pass in each game which would count for 5 DLC purchase per game).

If you don’t want to spend real money then your best bet is playing FM4 and Horizon. You can get points just be logging into each game each day (Days Played). Doing races you can get perfect pass points. By playing you’ll earn credits and can buy cars for Cars Owned points (buy the cheapest cars for maximum effect). You’ll also get Miles Driven points each time you race. …and you’ll probably collect some achievements along the way to net extra Achievement points as well.

Good Luck!!

It should be noted that while purchasing tokens is relatively easy and requires essentially zero time investment, it is countered by the fact that it is the slowest means of boosting rewards points. Token purchases can take two weeks or more to be recognized and rewarded whereas the actual gameplay related targets are typically rewarded within just a couple days. If you’re in a crunch to try and boost your level in a short period of time, you should look at other options first and save the purchase of tokens for when you might have use for them other than simply meeting the reward targets.
