Best way to earn credits?

basically, I’ve been playing Forza 3, on other consoles and such since about 2011.

right now, my profile has me at Level 40. I play with zero assists on and in the cockpit only with clutch, so my difficulty bonuses are already maxed out minus other driver’s difficulty (I keep that at medium, and braking line only (at +80% total earnings).

I’m in the R2 championships right now in Season Play.

I’m just trying to figure out a way to earn 1.5M credits for the Shelby Daytona. Besides the obvious “play the game.” I’m just wondering if online racing with the minimum drivers out there is a good idea, or if I should stick with season play, or hot laps, or what?

I’m not looking for “cheats” just ways that I earn the most credits per mile so to speak.

Or is it easier to earn the driver level 30 in Forza 4? Basically I’m just rounding out my Forza 3 experience and get to level 50, before getting Forza 4… and I really want the Daytona.

Is there no chance you could find one going much cheaper in the auction house?

Auction house. Man Forza 2 was a demon of a game. Genius work.

The storefront and auction house is no longer available for Forza 3 but is available in Forza 4. I still got Forza 3 and can try to gift you a Shelby Daytona. I am mistaken about the auction house and storefront, they are still available in forza 3, I guess you just need xbox live gold to be able to use them. To help you get the credits you could auction a car for 2 million and let me know by an xbox live message or I can gift you a Shelby, but I did not see a Daytona in Forza 3. Is it a unicorn car?

You need gold to use any of the online features in Forza - including sending and receiving gifts.
The Shelby Cobra Daytona is part of the Legends Car Pack DLC (which you must already own as it cannot be purchased anymore - the only part of FM3 that has been stopped is the ability to buy the DLC, everything else for the game works as it did on day one mostly).
