Best use for McLaren F1

Hi all.

I want to ask you guys what do you think about the McLaren F1.

I bought one just because I love the car, and I know how iconic it is but I am kinda disappointed because it is not the beast that I expected. I was using it in Time Attack A class at Catalunya but I wasn´t getting good times. Also, it is really difficult to control. I always drive with ABS on, breaking line and manual w/clutch and everything else turned off, but in this car I HAD to use TC because it is too difficult to control while driving hard enough to score some good times. Even with TC I wasn´t able to score a decent time.

What do you think about the McLaren F1? Worth it? Waste of credits? Which is the best class for the McLaren F1?

I would love to read your opinions, thank´s.

ps.- It cost 1,500,000 cr.

I like it, TBH credits are so easy to get in this game, i think every car i’ve bought has been worth it.

I’ve only tuned mine for A Class so far, it does well on Spa, Lemans (with chicanes) and other power tracks. I havent bothered doing much hotlapping yet, so have no idea where it stands on the leaderboards.

The F1 is a good A class Le Mans car.

Catalunya favors the cars that can hold the greatest lateral Gs. KTM X-Bow, Caterham, Lotus 2-11, Ferrari F50, etc.

Thank you for your comments guys! This was the kinda answer I was looking for. I am a newbie on Forza so I didn´t realized that Catalunya is not the best track choice for my iconic McLaren F1.

I’m glad you asked the question. I was having the same issue of finding a good place to use it. It’s such a great car. Thank you T10 for keeping old LeMans.
