It would be really good to to have best lap / this lap time appear in multiplayer timed races. Just as a reference, sometimes you get lucky and its on the cars dashboard, be good to have it in the corner though

It also needs to be replicated accurately in UDP.
At the moment, all of the lap/timing tracking in UDP is way out of whack because Timed races are calculated by distance and the game feeds odd data out.
Well a few days later this has been added to update 18!
> We’ve enabled the Lap counter in the HUD during Timed Races, which includes Practice as well as Multi-Class Races for easier lap tracking. In addition, Last Lap / Best Lap has also been enabled in the HUD during Timed and Multi-Class Races.
