Bently Continental "Street Kings" Livery

I just finished my first Livery in Forza horizon 4, It was a simple design but i am proud of how it came out, i custom made the crown and the text. if anyone would like to download it, it is in my storefront

Its a nice start and good looking font you used for the Street Kings. If thats custom made out your head then not bad at all!

Why not make more use of the white space on the car and use the crown in a different way. Its a little lost on the rear wheel arch.
As your using the gold chrome on the hood try to incorporate more in some way on the sides, maybe over the front wheel arches towards the door?

Agree with this Personally I think the overall look would be a lot more striking if your font and Crown were in the same gold chrome. Masking can be a bit of a chore sometimes but it’s well worth it, especially if you’re going for a more uncluttered design.

Would you basically paint the whole car good and then conver it in white in order to get the gold color in select spots? Or would it be possible for me to make my own gold color with gradiants and such?

You’ve got it Select the base colour in the “Paint Car” tab but you’ll probably find it easier to create your masked vinyl group in the editor & then apply it to the car, filling in the gaps. There might be a tutorial on masking, I’ll post a link if I find one (or maybe someone else can if they know of any).

so after a bit of editing i ended up with this, I absolutely loved your opinions and think that really made my car better, but i feel like i need more on the sides but am not too sure what to put. here is what i have right now

Well I suppose it will depend on what overall style you’re after - do you want a Race look? Then maybe a few logos and a Number board. More of a Street look? Possibly manufacturer logos again & perhaps a personalised plate? I’d definitely play around with the size & placings of what you have on the sides at the moment. For me, that’s the fun part of making Forza liveries & I honestly spend so much time playing about with layouts, I could easily have two or three versions of every car I paint.

Shrink the Crown down & move it around a bit, see what it looks like say near the wing mirror… or down at the bottom, either side of the wheel arch. What about grouping the Crown & ‘Street Kings’ together & repositioning them? You might find you’ve created a space that gives you an idea for something else. There’s no right or wrong really, just personal preference.

Try having a nose through some of the Galleries if you’re stuck for a bit of inspiration & don’t be afraid to put a design to one side for a short while, sometimes it helps to come back to it with ‘fresh’ eyes.
