And btw no i shouldn’t need to tune this car my god this thing is horrid around corners alls it does is slide it never sticks why cant you make these prtotype cars atcherly stick on corners instead of drifting every 5 seconds.
Try reversing the suspension settings, a lot of race cars in pretty much every Forza game have the setups for FWD and RWD the wrong way around. Rear drive cars should have softer rear springs and damping and front wheels drive are usually stiffer at the rear.
Spring weights are usually set by weight distribution. That would explain why mid engine race cars have stiffer springs in the rear.
It’s naturally harder to get a car that weighs over 3500 or 4000 lbs to handle great. In my experience, I’ve come to accept the fact that cars like the Speed 8 and Cadillacs will handle like a boat on wheels, but on tracks like Road America and other tracks that aren’t as hard on the corners, you’ll get the best bang for your buck in the lobbies.
Speed 8 is the Endurance Prototype racer, not the luxury car, very light and lots of power.
Heh. Downforce only works at speed. On slow corners you’ll have to rely on mechanical grip, and those early LMP900/LMP1 cars didn’t have much.
So, if you expected the Speed 8 to handle like something out of WipeOut “bcoz racecar”, enjoy your disappointment.
We’ll considering I just lost my 1st place time at Daytona in the 905c to the Bentley speed8 I would say that it’s a pretty good car. You just got to know how to tune my friend. Tuning can improve your times by seconds in some cases. It is also how good of a driver you are. This just my opinion but I would say it’s probably about 90% driver skill and 10% tuning. You could have amazing tunes but if you’re not the best driver you can’t expect to get good times.
If you had first place and lost it to the 8, lol yeah. Leaderboards don’t lie hahaha. If it’s in the number 1 position, then you bet your butt it’s a good car.
EDIT: I’m actually blown away by this… Has the Speed 8 EVER been a leaderboard car?
