It would be nice to review some of the most important events in motorsports history. Exciting F1 races, Le Mans 66, DTM, etc. About the same as in some 2K installments. With real commentators, footage from the time, back story to the events, unlocking outfits from the drivers and so on.

I was actually thinking of this too.

This mode should give players the ability to replicate the race as it happened. A good example would be the 2022 British Formula One Grand Prix (Extended Race Highlights | 2022 British Grand Prix - YouTube), where Carlos Sainz won his first F1 race of his career.

How it Works:

  1. When players load up the race, the driver they play as - Carlos Sainz for example - will talk about their thoughts about the race, what they were thinking at the time, how they achieved their result, and offer their closing thoughts.

  2. When the player begins the race as the aforementioned driver, they’ll pick up the race at a certain point. In this case, after the Safety Car period ends with a certain number of laps to go.

  3. The player then needs to achieve the result before the race ends.

  4. The race will play out as it happened in real life and the player will need to race hard to replicate it as best as they can. It doesn’t need to be a 1:1 replication, but should be close.
