this is great news though, I don’t need any cars, but a lot of people do, and this stretches the playlist out indefinitely with good engagement. I loved backstage passes in FH4, actually great seasonal prize, pick your own

one downside is it means the game is slowing down, less new cars coming, more old rare cars returning.
I’m ok with that. as someone who was late to Forza 4, backstage was basically new exclusives for me

If they do add Backstage, then I hope they do a mass dump of all the exclusive cars released before a certain date, instead of that silly voting system from FH4. Let people grab whatever they want to.

oh my goodness me, yes, none of the voting, it was ALWAYS the wrong one - worst was a vote for some Formula Drift car when it had been a reward just the week before, not the Napier-Railton or whatever that hadn’t appeared for 2 years

Ugh, yeah, there were multiple times right after I started playing when the vote screwed me out of a car I didn’t have in favor of something I’d just earned a week or two earlier. That Napier-Railton in particular never showed up as a repeat reward at all, and I didn’t get it until the end-of-life Backstage dump last month. Let’s avoid that nonsense this time around.

If the backstage were to comeback in FH5 it’ll probably be when it’s closer to the release of FH6 that’s what they’ve done in FH4 after all
