Does anybody know how to change my stupid avator on this forum, it may seem a bit shallow but my profile for the Xbox was set up by my kids which I think they did in a bit of a rush, I already have the un coolest gamer tag as a result of this and the stupid un cool avatar to go with it. For crying out loud I am not a fashion guru but I personally would never wear a jumper with horizontal green and blue stripes, and have a quiffy hair do, I even think a moustache has crept in aswell. All the other avatars have cool shades on and snazzy threads, again it may be shallow and yes I may be having a mid life crisis, but could somebody please help. Thanks

You can’t.

It’s based off of your Xbox 360 Gamerpic. If you created a Gamerpic on Xbox One, your 360 version reverts to a default pose and background.

I think you’re stuck with the avatar pic untill this site has an update.
My Son said recently that you can change your gamertag on Xbox for free now.

For what it’s worth, I think the jumper looks very fetching :slight_smile:

If you’ve still got your 360 boot that up and you can change your avatar on that. When I did it did update here after a few days.

like they said change it in the 360 and the xbox one has a avatar editor also but you will have to download it …and see if that works not sure if it will

Or try and change it using the 360 SmartGlass App.

Thanks for all the advise folks I have had a go at changing it through smart glass 360 see the if that works. Even if it doesn’t work I have had fun trying to make myself cool.:+1:

I can beat that, when I first set up my Xbone it was when they fist came out and @ work for the high speed conection, tried to set it up and get work done. I tried to key in ozzy84 but it was taken, walked away for too long I guess, when updating, and when I got back it had automatically picked my name and avatar. What the heck is a blockyorpheus?

When my Nephew was 5yrs old his mum set up an account but picked a female for his avatar, but instead of him changing it to a male he tried to make the female look like a male by making it taller, shorten its hair put shades on and then dress it with bright clothes, he ended up looking like a trans sexual from Bangkok :slight_smile:

Thankfully since then he has fixed it :slight_smile: This took about 4yrs for him to finally fix it mind!
