The Trial - Had two other people who could drive somewhat so that made it work. I knew I wanted to run the XJS…might do up a D-type later as well. Ran well, was controllable and good speed. Even after being run into a church(?) step in the second race, came to a dead stop, had to reverse, still caught up to the leaders and took first. Won 3:0 with 3 1st places. Good tune.
1990 Jaguar XJ-S Tune: Dirt In Style

PGG - I already had a Scirocco tuned for this but wanted to try the Fiesta. Light on the top end, but great maneuverability. I’ve thought about the 510 as well, but I have the tendency to roll it often here and at Mudkickers, so decided no.
1981 Ford Fiesta XR2 Tune: C Class PGG

Supercars - Had a Diablo tuned for this…even has a Squryl livery on it. Ran great. Great acceleration, good top end. It has a bit of understeer at top speeds that I couldn’t quite clear up but it is easy to accommodate for it.
1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV Tune: Road Ready

Twin Peaks - I have been wanting to run one of my Minors in something for awhile, so I took the opportunity. And kinda made it silly. So, it’s C600…on stock tires. It is fast, yes. However, it’s a wild thing. Very loose on turns, slides through everything. So fast, fun, and not recommended. lol
1958 Morris Minor 1000 Tune: Loose goose

Bug Me - I still have El Barto’s tune on my B700…but the A800 is my own. It handles well, gets good speed, and goes through barriers ok. It was good through the first two events though close. Won 1 and took 2nd on the other because of my own error. Could be a little faster. However the last track, through Ambleside was impossible to me. I have been running Unbeatable for awhile now with a few exceptions during Winter. But at that level, by the time you get to the grass, the lead cars are already at the “phasing” stage of passing through barriers. So I just couldn’t catch them. At Unbeatable, three cars would finish in under 2:00. The rest at 2:06 or later. At Pro, the lead car was under 2:00 while the rest were 2:05/6 or later. I had to set it to Expert to get the lead car down to 2:05 until I finally won. That track is frustrating due to that fact alone. The lead cars were Mavericks, if that makes a difference. When we were side by side on Expert level, the walls slowed them considerably. Well duh. So with them being able to just pass right through them, it really makes it tough to catch up. And the start of that race does a good job of keeping you bottle-necked near the rear so they can build a lead. Just my view, anyway. I’d love to try it again with a better setup if anyone has any suggestions.
1969 Volkswagen Class 5/1600 Baja Bug Tune: Buggy love

Trap: Ferrari 599XX Evo
Zone: Ferrari 599XX Evo
Danger Sign: Maserati Tipo 61

Yep, really like this tune, thank you - been looking for a useable XJ-S tune for a little while anyway but this is a good balance of speed and handling, without being too predictable!

*** UPDATE *** AUTUMN - SUPER 7
GREEN MAN OUTFIT is available for completing the Super7 this week.

Hello all,

Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks seasonal for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, unless otherwise noted, all shared by myself (or others). ~ tune name / share code. If you use anything offered here, and you like it/it was useful to you, please don’t forget to leave a like.

Online:
**Trial: “Grace, Space, Pace” | Road Racing | (A800) Jaguar
**Car used: 1959 Jaguar Mk ii 3.8 (Autoshow 80,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 Road / 133 159 822

This Trial, I decided to go withe Grace and Style, Jaguar Mr ii, besides I like the idea that this very refined luxury car was actually used successful in motorsport. Car/tune is an easy A.I., point scoring for the team racer, but it is by no means the fastest of the possible options, so be prepared to not lead. Podium, certainly, first place, maybe not. Drives well, nice balance, no surprises. Tune is AWD, race tires, turbo, rear Forza aero.

**Seasonal Playground Games | Slate Quarry | (C600) Retro Hot Hatch
**Car used: 1981 Ford Fiesta XR2 (Autoshow 25,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Rally / 642 648 718

Mentioned above (IngoingCake8592), and is true enough - “Light on the top end, but great maneuverability”. Fun little car for the games, from a driving point of view seems hard to catch - that or my opponents were not great at ‘tag’, as, very little top end! Works well for this season at the quarry, just avoid the shallow lake, it is a killer for this one. Tune is FWD, rally tires, no aero, full Ford bodykit (lights, mudflaps, cleaner bumpers)

PR Stunts:

  • Foothills Speed Zone, 2018 McLaren Senna - ‘New S2 Road Race’ (111 960 179) by Don Joewon Song, took a few tries, this because I felt the speed required was higher than actually needed, and I quit each time before the end if i felt it was not going to reach my 'in error/ goal - got it on the one go I ran through the end (thinking I was too low the whole time),
  • The Roman Mile Speed Trap, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544), two runs, too slow first run, coming uphill is better, longer straight, no rewind,
  • Hilltop Vista Danger Sign, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544), two runs, messed up the first, rewind to restart, got it on second.

**Championship: “Bug Me Not” | Cross Country | (A800) Offroad Buggies
**Car used: 1969 VW Class 5/1600 Baja Bug (Autoshow 60,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 Offroad F4T / 900 472 482

“IngoingCake8592” has summed this race event up, although I did not try on unbeatable, all the issues mentioned are much the same, been mention many times, ‘misbehaving’ A.I. is the issue, the Can Am is the other issue, there is certainly some bug with it if the A.I. uses it, and decides (as the game does) it will be the ‘winner’ (in one race, the Can Am was making a turn a such a high speed, that the second I reached the point where the A.I. ‘detect’ you (for want of a better way to say it) it did a complete 360 spin out, was not hit by anything, was simply going way too quick in to the corner - no braking at all). Yes, you need to catch the leading cars before they reach ‘phasing’ speed, otherwise you are lost - lucky this car/tune can manage this. Race can be close, but certainly possible to win with this car/tune: AWD, engine swapped for 2.0L Flat Four turbo.

**Championship: “Supercars-On-Sea” | Road Racing | (S1 900) Retro Supercars
**Car used: 1987 Ferrari F40 (1,200,000 Cr)
**Tune: S900 Road / 827 156 891

Deciding what to use here was a little hard, had a few I like, took this in the end as others were RWD tunes. Oh, and I did not check beforehand, so was the good choice, as wet tracks – beware however, this tune is slightly slippery in the wet, so slightly slower than would be helpful (will remember for next time). Race was competitive, due to aforementioned wet tracks, but not a difficult win. Tune is AWD, no aero (stock only), race tires, engine swapped for 6.0L V12.

**Championship: “The Twin Peaks” | Dirt Racing | (C600) Cult Cars
**Car used: 1966 Hillman Imp (Carpass ~ Autoshow 25,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Cult Games / 135 961 028

Another one that seems like it would not be, but is, successful at motorsport. Slow topend, goodish grip, competitive win (only because the A.I.'s choice for ‘winner’ has a better top-speed, everything else was not close at the finish-line at all). Tune is AWD, rally tires, turbo, wide-body kit, no aero, mudflaps, hood/bonnet and decklid - air vents option.

What do you know, apart from PR stunts, everything is over thirty years old. If I had noticed this pattern earlier, I may have tried with the stunts too.

Enjoy

Thank you, Bethel71

Oddly, I have been using this tune for awhile…but never realized I had not saved it. So it is a “new tune” that I’ve been using for months. lol. I love the XJS and it made for a brutal tag car in MS6. It has good potential across different race types…I’m working on a decent CC version of it. Then again, I say the same thing about the Gremlin, and yet my Koenigs sit nearly unused. What can I say?

WangKeRui, thanks for the shout-out. The Ambleside run in Bug Me Not is peculiar. Because they start you forward enough on Expert, I can be up on the lead cars by the time we hit grass. So the first sets of walls now make it so it’s an actual race. So I am going to try to tune something up that gets me to the front quicker even if it doesn’t handle as well. I might be able to make up the difference by driving alone, and I might not need something with as much top speed since the obstacles will be in play for everyone. I’ll see what I can come up with.

Oh, and a tip on PGG. Yeah, the lake is to be avoided…EXCEPT on Team King. When you are slowed down and easy to catch, and you have opponents closing in on you, dive into the lake. Get as far out as you can before they tag you. Now you have your speed back, and they are slogged down by the water. So that period when they can’t be tagged back gets used up trying to get out of the water. And then they have to accelerate uphill. So you can tag them and get your Crown back and sprint off again.

That Ambleside Rush buggies race on unbeatable must be up there as one of the very hardest challenges on FH4. That pinch point near the start makes it so hard to get a clean run to be close enough to the leaders before the long run through the barriers.

From what I’ve tried, El Barto Inc’s Alumi Craft (the standard one not the FE) gives the best chances of winning. It’s grip and power across the grass section before the long straight mentioned above gives you a good chance to get close enough to the leaders, if you can avoid hitting anything at the start. I’ve shared a run in this car on my activity feed, in case it’s any use.

The Nomad (tune by ATK mang0) is probably quicker - I’ve done 1.57 in this car - but is way more twitchy and seems random as to how it deals with the water. It can win comfortably but you need a lot more luck with the obstacles/bounces.

I’m a bit late to the party
This weeks trial went fine, with some close good racing 2x 1st and 1x2nd (lost to anther player) for me and my Jag in A 800 road racing trial. 3:0 for team. Could use a bit more grip, but it has good speed.
Jag XKR-S, tune - 131 766 346
have also few other Jags tuned and shared if anyone wants to try them

Started solo championships with S1 900 road racing, with retro supercars and I decide its time to take Magnum’s PI Ferrari for a spin (I know its not the right one, but its close enough :P)
Ferrari 288 GTO, tune - 226 276 194
same as with trial, there are also few other cars that fall into this category that I have tuned and shared

Next it was some C 600 dirt racing, with cult cars and in turn started weekly Forzathon and I didn’t feel creative, so just reused the Datsun
Datsun 510, tune - 214 788 086

last was somewhat annoying A 800 offroad racing with buggies … Tried Ariel Atom and … well its fast, but keeping it in desired direction, that’s a whole other matter. Next was Alumicraft (normal, not FE) and was fine, except meeting black hole powered Polaris RZR … ended in Hot Wheels Rip Rod.
So few options
Ariel Nomad, tune - 993 144 094
Alumicraft, tune - 170 755 831
Hot Wheels Rip Rod, tune - 127 972 733

PR stunts done with usual car - Koenigsegg Agera RS, tune - 167 849 655 doing danger sign and speed trap with ease, also speed zone was left for McLaren Senna, tune - 176 256 116.
All done on first try, no rewinds.

Back to weekly Forzathon and it started with Datsun, but I had other car ready for it - Jag XJ-S, A 800 offroad tune - 110 976 734, to have some fun on the beach, listening to skill song and collecting those 500k points with ease, continued with doing the race (no shortcut this time) and finished with doing few passes in solo mode on highway, to earn those daredevil skills.

As always finishing pic

Hope this can be of any help to someone, take care everyone and have fun, bb

I think Super7 rewards should be listed as well. Apparently they also rotate. I had no idea perhaps like many others, just completed it, got all the achievements and that was it.

They aren’t listed because S7 isn’t a seasonal playlist feature. Who/what says it rotates? It appears to have a set list of Horizon Life rewards like everything else, only that we can see from the greyed-out not-yet-available banner on the S7 tab that the prize line will be expanded. Where have they said it is to rotate?

There’s a rotating prize as well Squryl - currently a green man but decent exclusive cars previously. Someone else will have to confirm whether it changes weekly - I’m not sure.

It has so far, alternating a htf car vs outfit.

Thought I should mention I fulfilled a bit of the weekly forzathon car points requirement by completing the championship before working on the challenge itself.

Where can I see this? Oh, pfft, duh.
