Posted a more detailed version under “Report New Issues” as it seemed more appropriate there.
Tire sounds seem to get far away over time to the point they aren’t audible at all. It started when I bought the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse. Then, it seemed like it happened to any car I drive. When I let all the tires hit the grass however, the issue goes away and I can hear my tires again temporarily.
Bug Info: Front tires get muted until they hit grass or sand, then get muted again after a few minutes. It isn’t consistent either. Some races it happens, other ones it doesn’t. But it lasts the entire race/session. Not track specific from what I can tell. Bug persists even after reinstalling the game. EDIT: Rear tires get muted a while after the front tires do. Just found out after completing a medium length Multi-Class race at Indianapolis Speedway GP Circuit.
Here’s a short video I recorded during a “Test Drive” race mode at Suzuka Full. Used max front brake bias to lock the front tires up and even muted the engine to make it as obvious as possible. Use headphones to hear the single tire I “unmute” by running just the right tire off the road.

Content Update: Started happening around the time the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse was released.
Vote on this one here. It’s more recent, better proof and in a more appropriate section as I initially thought it was just one car doing it. Sadly I can’t delete this one.
