In game audio cuts out everything from car, to tires, to the environment. Has happened several times and have to quit game and reboot has happened mid race, mid practice, and even in menus.

FM audio has stopped completely.
My console audio is fine on dashboard, just the game audio has straight up stopped

It’s of no benefit to me for this to be nonsense on my part. Audio was fine for 15 laps then just stopped.

I’ve had the audio completely disappear on me in the 2 endurance races I did.

Complete loss of sound on Xbox series x thought my xbox messed up or TV. No was your game . Happened halfway threw an endurance race in Career mode. It also crashes about every 3-4 races in any mode more prominent in online i had deleted this game waited on new up date then re downloaded due to the Ai give me penaltys for others hitting me still happens just not as often. 7-10 on that fix so close but halfway in to an endurance race and all sound thats sucks. My just re delete again and hopefully your company can fix this game cuz it could be good if ya simply would take your time. I promise we would be fine waiting for it just a little bit longer if the game was just seamlessly able to flow .

The sound cut out during a race , I restarted the game but still no sound. I played other and the sound working find . I unplugged my speakers and replugged back in but still no sound for forza motorsport 8 . I done a system check with xbox x and check the TV and sound system , there are all working fine.

Same happened to me today. Playing global endurance, Brands Hatch, about lap 26. The xbox sound was fine cause i triggered an achievement about a lap later and the sound of the achievement came on nice and loud. Playing on Xbox series X w Dolby Atmos. It is unbelievably infuriating to try and drive a car in heavy rain with no sound to indicate wheelspin or revs redlining. Also game force crashing after exiting an event. So annoying. My willingness to keep playing this game is waning quickly.

Did anyone find a fix for this?
It happened to me last night on the Rally Rivals playlist. 4th lap on Sebring. Completely threw me off having no audio.
I’ve reset the game, turned the xbox off and on, still nothing.
All the bugs in this game are getting very irritating. The most i’ve ever paid for Forza Motorsport and it plays up like this. Its not on, honestly.

I just had this happen in a GT2 lobby. Rain lots of sound just poof… guess game braking bugs don’t get fixed right away just like crashing after race… i’ll go play somethign else… No brains at this company… other game companys put out hotfixes right away… we have to wait weeks… becuase to pair it with a content patch…
Yes it’s is if ita all the same ot rain and dark ahrd to see and with o sound to hear the engine rev up as tires slipped and then well it seems not all ways go so well i actually ran the same race 4 times before the sound did not shut off
I haven’t experienced such issues but the sound of the engine cuts out on my car ONLY at the starting grid when the wheels spin and regain traction.

Just happened to me for the very first time. And with the 11 update installed.
I was in the first lap of multiplayer Daytona R class. Sound completely cut off all of the sudden. Pause the game and get back to the race doesn’t solve it.
If I exit the race and go back to the main menu there’s still no sound.
Well. We’ll never have a decent playable FM2023 that’s for sure.

EDIT: happened again since the launch of the game from the dashboard. No sound at all. I had to close FM and relaunch it to make this bug go away.
About halfway through an online race the audio entirely cut out. No car sound, no game sound, not even menu sound, complete silence.
I am having a similar issue since 2 days.
The sound crackled a bit and then was totally gone. All sound in the game and the menu’s.
I restarted my xbox but it is still not back.
I have tried all audio-options and have restarted the xbox many times but still no sound.
I use the tv speakers and they are fine. Everything also works fine in other games (like asetto corsa) so it is really only an issue in Forza Motorsport.
But I played this game a lot up to now so this is very annoying… without sound I do not play it anymore…
So please help

Okay, I found out that restarting the console does not really restart the game.
So I have now closed the game through xbox menu and restarted it.
I now have my sound back finally.
