I was flipping Truenos yesterday and could set a max buy out of 7.5 mil, I wasn’t setting it that high but I had the option too. Tried listing 2 today and the max buyout I could set was 5.5 mil. Anyone know why that has happened?
It most likely had a different tune or livery or at least a livery or tune done by another user.
Most likely it happen when the already sold cars did not get their maximum buyout price. If you put cars in the auction house for 7,5 million buyout price, but they are sold for less, the auction house itself will lower the maximum buyout price for the next round.
Was the same with the LaFerrari for example - in the beginning you could set the buyout price up to 20 million, but as nobody has bought one for these pricetag any longer, the buyout price gets reduced to a level people would but that car.
It is a market mechanic introduced in FH4 where the “wanted”-level of the car has affects of the buyout price - that’s why for example the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa is so cheap in the auction house cause nobody wants that…
