I Recently returned after a 1 week ban, and since then i have had issues with the Auction House that i was not having prior to Ban.
(Yes i know Bans are usually not to be spoken about on forums, but…
A. im not directly discussing the ban, mentioning it as i think it may be part of the problem,
B. i did send an email about Issue 3 about 3 or 4 days ago and got no reply)

Issue 1: Auctioning Car Fails
Normally i would go to garage and select car to auction, set the price/time and hit auction, normally with in 15-20sec auction goes through.
but in the past few days since Ban lifted more often than not it will show the loading wheel for over a minute and then come up with “Forza servers unavailable”
i have Tries 3 Different Internet connections (Home, Parrents, Mobile Phone hotspot) and all 3 have the same result, so i do not believe it is a connection issue on my end.
When it does this it kicks me back to main menu, and also creates a Duplicate paint Design file for that car.
then i go back to garage and select same car to auction, only now with the duplicate (Unshared) design its max buy out increases by about 5-10%
E.G. 1 car was a max buy out of 577k, but after it failed to auction, on 2nd attempt its max buy out was 644k
now the extra money is nice, but the fact its tacking 4-5 times longer to do auctions is extremely annoying.
to give you an idea of how frequent this occures, i took note during my last round of auctions.
i started counting from my last 15 auctions of the round. from 15 auction attempts, only 5 went through on 1st attempt, 10 auctions took 2 attempts

Issue 2: Cant Reclaim some cars after Auction, Sold or unsold
since ban i have done 3 rounds of auctioning, each round is 24 cars, currently the 3rd round is active, so for this issue i will be talking about the 1st 48 cars.
of the 1st 48 cars i have auctioned, only 16 did not sell.
of those 16 cars, 8 will not give me the option to reclaim, only view Seller/tuner/painter
and of cars sold, 1 car will not allow me to claim credits.
so thats 9 cars stuck in My Auctions that i cant do anything with

(I think Issues 1 & 2 may or may not be related)

Issue 3: Cars from My auction and My Bids Disappeared
Prior to my ban, i had just shy of 150 cars cycling through My Auctions, and 40-50 cars won and waiting to be collected in My Bids
when my ban was lifted ALL of the cars in My Bids were gone, and only 39 cars were left in My auctions.
but those 39 Cars i can not Reclaim!
when i click Reclaim it says “Forza server unavailable”
when i click “Y” to view auction Details it says “Unable to download Auction Details”

so thats around 200 cars, with Tunes installed Gone.
i would estimate that to be around 15 million worth game credits i had invested just vanished
how can that be acceptable?

ISSUE UPDATE

Issue 1:
Issue 1 is still horrendous! even worse today.
from 24 auctions, only 5 worked on 1st attempt…
so 19 auctions timed out and took 2 attempts to auction

i had a theory on this issue, but i think i proved it not the case.
i thought maybe my ban corrupted my design files some how so even though i re-shared them, auction house was having trouble loading them.
but i tried auctioning a brand new paint i created yesterday and still same issue, 1st attempt takes over a minute then says no servers, then creates a duplicate design file, 2nd attempt auctions fine

Issue 2:
Today issue 2 was not a factor.
from my 24 auctions
17 sold, all credits were collected
7 did not sell, all have option to reclaim

ISSUE UPDATE

Issue 1:
not as bad as other day, but still more bad than good.
15 out of 24 failed to auction on 1st attempt

Issue 2:
havent had this re-occur since original post.
but those cars are still stuck

Usually any cars you have up for auction are lost. You cannot retrieve them. It’s part of your punishment I think. Plus i’m pretty sure the system doesn’t work as Turn 10 want it to but they just leave it as it is.
I did flag this post for you to get a mod response but none of them has. I guess it’s christmas!

guess i will just keep posting updates in hopes of a reply for all 3 Issues.

i can understand active auctions being cancelled,
but to delete all the cars you have won and have yet to reclaim, thats a bit harsh…
(15 million credits worth of harsh in my case)
especially given the won cars in “My Bids” dont even have my designs on them as they have yet to be collected after placing a winning bid
and the cars in “My Auctions” yet to be reclaimed may or may not have my designs on them, but they are not public, and once a ban is lifted you could easily edit/change design after reclaiming and before re-auctioning
(That is if they tell you what design/decal got flagged, which in my case they would not so i had to guess)

ISSUE UPDATE

Issue 1… SOLVED
I figured it out. it was my tunes.
even though i do not share any tunes, all tunes saved prior to ban were causing the issue.
once i re-saved tune file and loaded it to a car auction would go through 1st attempt every time.

Issue 2:
Cause: still unknown, but has only happened on 1 days worth of auctions.
Effect: I still have 9 cars from this glitch stuck in “My Auctions” that a can neither reclaim or delete.
would really like to have these files either:
A. Fixed so i can reclaim them (Preferred option)
B. Removed from my Auctions List (not preferred, but would rather them of my list than on it)

Issue 3:
i have made my feelings pretty clear in previous post about how i feel about the 150 odd cars that were taken out of my auction house as part of ban
it is harsh and no reason for it.
but that being said the remaining 39 cars that are still in my auction list from before the ban are still taking up space.
just like the 9 cars in Issue 2, these 39 cars can not be reclaimed or deleted from list.
so i would like 1 of the 2 options requested in issue 2 to also be applied to these 39 cars.
Plus i would like to know if the 150 cars that went missing was by design, or a glitch.
Either Way given that was valued around 15 million of in game credits that i had invested,
surely some sort of compensation would be in order???
