Hey everyone. Recently started making some original livery designs. I see most people around here are doing replicas, but I hope some of my designs can get some love too.
All images are uploaded in 4K, feel free to open the image in a new tab to see them full size so you can appreciate the small details that are in a lot of these designs!
The 90s 240sx
The first one I made is a little crazy. Inspired by the 90s cup and Japanese aesthetic, this one is a little hectic. I love where the color palette ended up, and the amount of shading brings my mind right back to the radical 80s/90s.
The Luxury Supra
After the hectic 90s 240sx, I had to go for something a little more clean and simple. I wanted to make something that looked like a luxury brand sponsored a race car. Black with gold accents, with subtle black accents on the gold accents for that “I have too much money” look. Tiled logos on the doors and roof give off a rich aesthetic, and just enough sponsor decals to make it feel sporty and aggressive. Don’t miss the hidden surprise!
Sakura no Kuma - The Bear of the Cherry Blossoms
A ferocious bear fighting until it’s last as it fades into cherry blossoms.

Had a hard time getting good pictures of this one again. I’m afraid I’m just not a good photographer. Did manage to capture this one though:
Volk Toyota 86
Back to a clean style. I really like how this one turned out.

CyberPunk RX7
Was trying to do something cyberpunk, but not make it look like the game “Cyberpunk 2077”. Not really feeling this one, but uh, yeah, friggin’ cyberpunk or somethin, I don’t know.
Acura Team Penske NSX - Original
Inspired by the 2021 Acura Team Penske Le Mans colors and sponsors with my own original twist. A subtle palette of grays offset by bright shots of orange and just enough shading to make it pop. Customized rear end includes vented trunk lid and trunk-exit exhaust. This was my first foray into fabrics (rear tow strap) and chrome (rear exhaust tips). This is also the first paint job I’ve done that required enough precision that I had to edit large portions of it in the vinyl editor and then apply it back to the car.
Enjoy!
