Anyone else's game soft-locking everytime you Quit a practice session, or just before race?

All day today, I am unable to leave the session, it’s stuck in the map loading and i can see the timer going down, I waited 2 minutes++ but still it’s not showing me the menu. I can join session and start practice fine, but when I quit to event menu, the game soft locks, also, after event menu and jumping to race, the game soft locks.

Just started my first lobby today and had the same issue while quitting practice into the lobby menu.
Closed the game after 4 minutes of waiting.

Seems like dang near everything in the game has been even slower than usual for me over the prior few days.

Joining featured multiplayer lobbies takes longer than ever.
Match request - please wait…

I’ve missed the chance to qualify in some featured multiplayer lobbies because the loading screen takes so long that there’s only a few seconds remaining until race start when my car finally gets on the track to qualify.
Practice ends in (tick, tock, tick, tock…)

A couple times while tuning a car in a free play test drive session, the “applying tune” screen hung for a couple minutes.

The game released in 2023 for modern-day platforms, but interacting with it feels as sluggish & cumbersome as trying to help grandma get her dot-matrix printer working on her dusty old Gateway computer that’s still running Windows 3.1 on dial-up internet.

This is pretty much expected when everything in this game is ‘Online only’, we wouldn’t have this problem if they saved few stuff locally on our hdd. Bro at one point, it feels like im playing this game on a cloud computer

It shows that “the cloud” is not (yet) a viable platform for this sort of thing.

No soft lock at least here but it starts to drop FPS as in the beginning last year.
Only a restart fixes the problem, doesn’t matter the graphic settings.
And i’m not playing on a potato.

There was a VRAM leak issue back in the day which was fixed by lowering livery details as far as I remember

Yes you’re right, i forgot about that.
Weird that i have it happen again..
I’ll try that to see if it’s the same bug as back then.
Thanks
