Any one still playing FM4 to complete it?

After sometimes finally complete the season and lucky enough to grab the Porsche DLC before removed (but not yet bought the token so there’s always 300 reward points missing). Try to complete the game by complete the remaining 3 achievement (Get any Car Manufacturer to Affinity level 50. / Finish a race on every race track / Finish 1st in every single race in the Event List). Following the suggestion from trueachievement, i’ll drive myself until the car manufacturer to level 50 then hire driver to complete remaining race. I guess another 100+ hours should be needed. Anyone sharing the experience how long do you actually played to finish the game?

I would like to complete it but still have around 370 races to race going by my completion percentage. I’m plenty behind in Forza 5, Horizon 2 and now Forza 6 so I’m not sure if I’ll ever devote the time to go back and grab the last two achievements I need.

Are you able to earn the “race on every track” achievement even if you aren’t the one driving?

Thanks for the update, i think 200+ hours needed to complete each Forza game (for FH2, FM3, FM4, FM5, FM6). Reading TA site you can hire driver to achieve race on every track, i do keep an Excel to mark how much i still needed for complete 1st on each race and only complete 10% after finished season 10.

Nice, I may just have to start doing that. Do the achievements still work if you turn off the class limits? The slower class races sure would go by a lot faster if you could stick your hired driver in an R1 car against whatever the rest of the field is driving.

I loved all the varied classes and events but as soon as I started getting to the right side of the events page with the 6-10+ lap double-heat F and E-class it kind of broke me. I just didn’t have the will to trundle around the track for hours in slow cars to 100% the game.

Forza 4 is definitely the most complete package in the series so far. I am terrible at tuning and painting, but loved spending hours in rivals and doing the community bounties when they had them, loved racing with friends and spent dozens of hours flipping cars in the auction house to make piles of money for filling out my garage. I spent gobs of time in the Le Mans Multiclass hopper too, the R3 race cars were among my favourite to drive. So many cars and such variety.

I’ll post my time stats later, this game has had days and days worth of my time put into it and I’m not upset about that at all. Fantastic game.

I have never looked to see how much I have left? I have been racing since a year after it came out. Being one who is mad at Microsoft and still has not moved on to an Xbox one I still race (or try to do so every day…wife allowing). Still love to play it. Gonna see how much I have left now that you mentioned it though.

Although Turn 10 Rivals comps are gone there is still plenty of online Challenges some of you guys might enjoy then, over in RACERS LOUNGE - a lot of friendly competition and some great guys to run with

an advice to get this achievement (any track)
set up a private lobby,11 AI Drivers and go through the list from top to bottom… every track is listed and if i remember right, you have to do races on EVERY layout of a track…
go to settings (of your lobby),1 lap each race, pick your fave car and you should start as leader…
Guess its the easiest way and you cant miss a track…

As i’m working towards the last 3 achievements so my strategy is to keep 2 checklist, one to log all events at event list (link prepared by some gamers and posted at TA https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-SkVi7YKUDCZzMtMVdmbEJxRUE/ (note the total no of races exclude Porsche DLC and also the last group World Championship should have 2 heats for each race such that it should be 240 race instead of 120 and in total 1299). Another list i’m reference is based on the walkthrough at TA (Guide for Forza Motorsport 4 - Story walkthrough) for race each track (i’ve created at separate check list for this one).

My strategy as below:

  1. Use Ferrari as the major manufacturer (i’m now level 28 for the car manufacturer still some times to reach 50 for the achievement)
  2. Choose the events at event list (mark restriction off and select event valid for Ferrari in green color) and mark the event done for race each tracks.
  3. Setup custom race (at online race vs AI) and race those track which don’t exist at event list
  4. For the remaining events which not belong to the selected car manufacturer (Ferrari in this case), i’ll select another car or hire driver to complete it

Using this method, i’m working towards all last 3 achievements however it will be a bit slow as racing event at event list is much longer depends on number of lap. To organize better and keep track of the progress (you’ll be mad if you keep playing this game only), I play around 1-1.5 hr each day (working towards Forza Reward as well) and hopefully i can finish the game within 2016 before they shutdown server which make race each tracks unobtainable (as the description you need to have log the time at leaderboard which mean any server down may make it unobtainable)

Currently working my way through career mode. Have the following achievements to get, Bucket List, World Tourer and Look Ma, No Controller! The last should be completed in a couple of days when my Ebay Kinect arrives  The other two should be here within the next couple of months.

I probably spend around 2 hours a night unless out working through each section / column, working from left to right on screen. All European Manufacture Races apart from Gallardo Club (DLC) done. All Asian Manufactures done, North America, all Semi Pro’s, International Masters apart from LMP1 Tour, Multi-Class & Fujimi done except two (DLC) and now working through Speedway and Autocross sections and I reckon I’m only 80% complete although see my signature for what the game is reporting.

Total time showing on my spreadsheet is 2 days 21 hours and that’s not including races where I’ve had to restart / not finished in gold and had to run again etc. Since starting the game on the 19/12/15 I’m up to 129 days

Good luck with the race to the completion line

For World Tourer you need to race for those track which even show in the event list. I’m marking my world tourer progress and only 45 races left now (i try to race the track for this achievement at event list)

A few people have pointed out to me that even if you finish all the races in career mode, you still wont have driven on all the tracks for the World Tourer achievement. You’ll need to run all the drag strips individually. If you look on xbox achievements guide site, there’s a full list of all tracks, think it might even be in a sticky post in this section

Ah ha, here it is, post number #7 in this thread

I haven’t gone back yet to progress any further but fired it up the other day to see my time stats. I have definitely sunk some days into this game!

I’m going to set my 360 up on a side monitor and start running CPU races to get rid of the far right column of races at the very least. Most of the other races are shorter events with a nice variety of car brands and types, I’d like to finish them off myself.

What a complete waste of time and effort the autovista was

Certainly sunk some time in that pic wolfsburgraz, I’m on level 177 so only another 100 to go to catch you up  wonder what level I’ll be when fully complete.

Finally I just setup a private lobby to finish remaining race and use leaderboard to find out those missing race after I completed the race (turn out 3 of them haven’t got a time posted).
Cheers! Two achievements left now

I had my machine doing races for a while one day on the weekend, knocked out a series. I forgot to check my completion percentage.

If there’s one thing I’m definitely feeling during my trip down memory lane it is definitely sadness. Sadness that all these fantastic tracks, real and fantasy, are not in any of the newer Forza titles.

-Suzuka
-Tsukuba
-Motegi
-Maple Valley
-Sunset Peninsula
-Sedona
-Camino Viejo
-Iberian
-Ladera
-Mugello

Since remasters have been all the rage this current generation, I genuinely would love an Xbox One “Definitive Edition” of Forza 4. Day one purchase if it ever came to be.

I agree, i love the variation of the track at FM4 while newer Forza can’t include them. I hope they can be BC such that Turn 10 can re-release the DLC and also count the rewards in correct way.

Finally achieve car affinity level 50 achievement, the only one left now is complete the bucket list, my excel keep track of 20% completion so it’s still a long way to go, with the final achievement i can simply hire driver while playing FM6 to complete it

Faltam 330 corridas agora para completar todos os eventos !

FYI - ALL posts on this forum need to be in English.

Thinking about purchasing a used copy of this game. Is it worth it? Still playing Forza 6 so wonder if I should invest my money in some DLC for 6.

Thanks so much.
