I hope I can explain this correctly, I might not get the steps just right but I will try.
When in the Paint and Design portion of the game, with a car selected with or without a locked paint livery, if I go to the section to select available creator designs, I can scroll through and look at them but when I select one I want, any one, I get an error that the ‘My Designs’ is full and I cannot select a design. I can remove the error message and continue to scroll through the current designs but I cannot select anything.
It’s at this point the whole game is broken, I cannot exit out of the current design selection screen, only continue to scroll through whatever designs are there. I cannot open anything else in Forza 7 I have tried everything, at this point I have to hit the X button on the controller and goto the dashboard. Even then, the game is still stuck in the design selection menu as I have tried to go back into the game and it’s just stuck there.
What I have had to do is exit to the dashboard, run any other program, (not settings, going into settings and exiting back to game has it still stuck) then re-run Forza 7 and it works again until I go back to select a design for any car I have and it is stuck again. I have no way of knowing how to fix this, I assume there is a “Limit” to how many ‘My Designs’ are allowed (This is a serious bug that happens in other places in the game where you run out of options due to limits) but this one basically crashes the game and almost requires a system reboot.
Other ‘Limits’ are too many auctions started within 24 hours (Huh??) Garage full can’t add anymore cars, probably more that I haven’t found yet
Most of these ‘Limits’ could be fixed if they would offload some of this onto the xbox instead of having to store and manage it on their servers. Turn 10 servers seem to be way over loaded at times and I think much of the load is due to pushing the graphic content down to the client ever time a user clicks the mouse or button inside the garage, designer, auction portions of the game… They should be using the xbox to cache the graphics instead of sending down the line every time a screen changes or whatever.
Horizon 4 Auction is the worst, way too much graphical content is pushed down to the client every time a user clicks on something. Way too many screen changes period are happening for the auction portion of the game. This needs to be better optimized which would reduce the burden on the servers and improve the user experience.
