Hello… So, I was able to play just fine the other day, however when I started up the game today none of the online features were functioning.
(Find Tune, Find Vinyls etc.)
When I tried to go to an Online session I get the following error.
Here is a screenshot of my Xbox Network status, and my Teredo Tunneling status.
I have been able to connect perfectly fine before.
I’ve probably looked up over 100 different pages on google showing everything from re-installing Turedo adapter, manually changing registry, to resetting windows’ Internet and Firewall settings to factory.
I’ve even tried using third party programs like Netcat and Portmapper to force the ports open and override any computer settings.
I tried messing with all the commands listed on this forum and the microsoft technet forums for changing/removing/reinstalling the turedo adapter for the first month of the game, Still couldn’t connect online or when I did it would randomly disconnect me. This was with using a killer gigabit e2500 internal NIC. The ONLY solution I have found is to use a wireless PCIE card in my desktop instead, which for some reason works fine and I never have connectivity issues. To this day the problem still exists, if I try to connect using my internal wired NIC, I can’t connect online at all, the wheel just spins, but wireless it works fine.
I dont have a wireless adapter in my desktop, but I tried using my Cellphone as a “hotspot” using an USB cable.
Doing this the Error message doesnt display anymore, but I am stuck on “Looking for session” without ever finding one.
The NAT also changes from “Open” to “Moderate” in my Xbox Live Network settings doing this.
I am still unable to connect to online… I have double checked all my settings and ports, my Turedo status even shows an Open NAT status now and UPNP enabled, But I still cant connect.
It will find a session within 20 seconds, try to join, and then give me the exact same error message as posted in the screenshot. I’ve officially tried it at two of my apartments, and massive computer party with 2000+ participants (Where 8 out of the 19 I asked, had the same issue, and 4 could not confirm due to not having finished the intro.) I’ll return to my original apartment next week but I doubt it will be any different there.
This is obviously an issue that several people have. (I had 8 participants confirm they had the same IPSec issue that I have during the LAN event.)
I never had this issue before, the only time I had any networking issues were day 1, but that was quickly fixed after updating my turedo adapter.
Even tried submitting a support ticket on the 19th of February, and it hasnt even gotten a response yet. I mean, is it called Turn10 because it only has 10 employees working CS, or whats the deal…?
Am I just stupid and not seeing the simple fix here?
