ANSWERED: Route help needed: Anyway to share a route with new settings?

I am at my wits end with this route creator. Needless to say, I love making routes and then there is this contest, but I ran into an issue.

I did not know about the ability to even set a class when making a route.

So now two problems. First is I can do a custom blueprint and set for that track, but cannot set it. And then I also have routes now with no track restriction. Also, I cannot determine how the route will look or get the time of day and weather perfect until it is all done creating?

I really need help! I need to add class restrictions and want to try different time/weather settings, but I just cannot go and remake the whole routes. The routes are complex so have a higher checkpoint count and that is days of work just to redo the courses if I have to do them from scratch!

Edit: And when I go to my blueprints, it shows one I tried from route creator when at the route, but still no class and my test one I made with same route doesnt show in my blueprints from creative hub. Oh my lordy. This is the most brutal custom track creator I have ever used. Is there no way to just delete an existing blueprint?

Oh come on guys. Let me hit X and “change route settings” is all I want.

You can create a new blueprint with every of your saved routes.

The restrictions are set with the blueprint not the route itself.

Edit:

  1. You select the event
  2. Create blueprint
  3. Set the basic settings
  4. Load your created and saved route via ‘route select’
  5. Set the event settings.

Every event has 5 slots for blueprints. You can’t delete them. But after you created 5 events you are able to overwrite blueprints.

Here is where I am getting flustered though. So I had made the route with the route creator, but cause it logs me out, I didn’t ever have the performance index selection or know it existed. So I tried that where I went back into the route start, make a new blueprint and set a class restriction, but that one does not show up in my creative hub.

So I tried making it with a completely different route name, but it still does not show in my blueprints on creative hub either. I can see it when I go to the track start itself and the blueprint screen, but it does not show up in my blueprints itself.

Worse, is there no way to delete the test settings? Will I forever have a much of the same blueprints at that point for eternity unless I delete the whole route?

Thanks all. That helps to settle my OCD. I just made variants so I could overwrite the ones I didnt want.
