Hello

Whenever I play Horizon 4 online, I have random lags, when game slows down, and then speeds up as to compensate for slowdown.

When I play Horizon solo I do not have this problem.

But when I want to play with friends I have to go online, so this is getting annoying and ruins my gaming experience.

I have noticed similar problems with Horizon 3 as well, but in 4 its a lot more common.

I have seen posts that Xbox One players have this problem as well.

I have decent PC

6600k @ 4.6ghz

16gb ddr4

GTX 1070

And I play at 1080p I have 90-120 fps on average, so I know its not hardware related.

I have optic fiber connection, with 250mb/s up and down.

No other games have lags or connection issues.

I have tried updating all the drivers, reinstalling game, reinstalling windows.

When I reinstall game, or windows problem goes away for a day or two, but always comes back.

Have anyone find a solution to this?

After series 9 update, I encounter this problem like 2 times per race, so I cannot drive online any more.

Been having the same issue here. Also submitted a ticket days ago with no response as of yet. I don’t think they know how to fix it. Seems to have been going on for months.
Tried all the fixes I have found online but they all have no effect. I even took my pc apart, cleaned it and then reassembled it just in case something was askew.
I know I don’t have the best system out there but it should run this game with no problems.
