Obviously Ranked isn’t populated yet because not everyone built a car for every race type and class yet. Not everyone has a team. The game isn’t even out for none Ultimate players till tomorrow. Even then they’ll need a few days to catch up and find a team if they’re casual players.

I want free for all races I can filter by class & race type.

for anything outside the upper most of ranked racing, collisions should be off by default. Did the reports fall on deaf ears, all the “rammed in forza” reports made during online play where immature jerks sideswipe people out of checkpoints repeatedly
There simply shouldnt be collision racing in a game thats not a legit hyper realistic simulation platform. Not even motorsport fits that requirement!

Please add non collisions some roads are way to small to even be slightly appealing to play multi-player on, clubs need to more like fh3 team race only absolutely sucks most ppl like to play for lap time , it’s such a disappointment freeroam is bad with not being able to play for lap times either and there is no option for no collisions, but graphics are amazing game is beautiful. Please do a patch and add a non collisions and take off team races or add in laptime races.

Dude, I wouldn’t have bought this game if I knew about these issues. These (that I know of so far) are deal-breakers:
(1) online adventures are team-based only?!
(2) no class-based rivals
(3) no ‘collisions off’ option
(4) no voting on the next adventure
(5) …

For real. I mean who could have foreseen that all the best features from the last game would be removed? Had I known this I never would have bought this game especially the ultimate version and digitally at that. I’ve never in my life bought a digital release at launch for fear that I wouldn’t like the game and not be able to sell it. I have and still play all the other Horizons so I figured buying the digital release for this game would be fine based on the past releases. Welp so far so bad. I don’t even want to play this game now and that’s a shame because it has some great cars and great tracks.

Same here. Not been able to play a ranked game yet. Finds one, tells me not all players accepted or something then searches again and so on.

I don’t understand why it was necessary to do it this way … why only team race and why we need teams from completely random people, and why not just make the championship system where everyone earns points for himself …

Seriously, the only thing I didn’t like on FH3 were the team races, for me all they would have to do on FH4 to make it perfect was to get rid of them… [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]… I love this series but the multiplayer on FH4 is a disgrace.

Is there seriously no class based rivals? I thought the whole point was to build your car your way and see how far you could take it.

I do not like Team Adventure at all.
I also dislike Freeroam Rush.
And that I cannot choose Car classes.
And no Ghost races.
But my biggest dislike is being forced to Team games only…
Coming from a player with several hundreds of hours of MP in FH3 alone.

Love being faster than everyone online but never winning because of my team losing or getting shoved off the road by some kid. Multiplayer is my main go-to in Forza so I’ll give them a month or so before I give up, to make at least SOME changes to Multiplayer, or as I like to call it, Team Deathrace.

Yes, I agree that in many ways they have gone backwards with this game. As was said before, if it aint broken don’t try to fix it & the FH3 setup was well thought out & just so dam good. It leaves the FH4 setup for dead.
The FH3 menu was streamlined, the whole setup was better & to be quite honest I have been playing the early release (Ultimate Edition) for two days and I’m bored with its stupidity already.
There are a few more people online now so there are more cars (& idiots) to avoid but the game world still feels like a cold lonely place.
Don’t get me wrong because it is still a good game, but just not as good as FH3.
The main issues I am having at the moment is with the Microsoft servers.
I don’t know what has happened but just lately (for two weeks at least) everything to do with Microsoft is super slow.
From the moment I sign in (if it works) everything goes downhill from there. It is a real mess at the moment.
I am doing all my console updates offline from now on too because there is a potential risk for everything to go haywire.
I thought they bricked my console with their last update when it stopped halfway, It took two days of messing around with usb’s etc to get it all back.
Well there goes any end game for me.
