Game was working perfectly fine the last 1.5 days and is crashing withing 5-40mins of gameplay now. I’ve noticed it crashes quicker with the game fully maxed out but lasts longer in optimized mode and windowed.
I’ve tried the suggested batches here but game still crashes regardless.
How many updates has the game had since release cause it’s strange that it just started crashing all of a sudden.
My game was fine until I went to play today, lucky for it to run for a single minute at the moment. Essentially unplayable and I have changed nowt on my PC
Edit - Reinstalled drivers (clean install just drivers/physx as suggested above) and re-applied Inspector profile and it hasn’t crashed since…
Clean install 399.24 drivers (use DDU) if you are not using an RTX card, those made the game crash a lot less for me and stopped the BSOD I was having due to a DX12 crash. Seems the 411 drivers give some issues on Pascal cards since the new ones are optimized for Turing GPU’s.
Also having issues here, played yesterday no problems at all, today, I saved a car tune, went back into the game, and as it was loading into the car the black loading screen just stuck - load circle not moving.
Now I get the same thing any time I load the game, it just gets stuck on the loading in screen, tried reboots, new GPU drivers, etc, nothing makes any difference.
Getting the same issues. Worked fine first day of early access. The next day was a mess and it has only gotten worse. If I successfully load into the world (get past the second loading screen) then I’m typically okay for about 30min-1hr. But every event or action that requires reloading into car is like a dice roll and more often than not it hangs on the black loading screen and the circle doesn’t move at all.
I’m on a 4770K, 16GB ram, 8GB RX 580 running newest drivers. Tried reinstalling the game, re-downloading the game, no luck yet.
So I’ve been having some issues too, but they started out of nowhere today… I was having fun with a friend until I had to do a solo race… Crashed at exactly 48% progression (City Outskirts cross country)… Tried lowering the graphics, no result. I did get to 78% right after updating my drivers (411.1 to 411.4)… Got multiple BSOD at random crashes. Now for extra information:
-Yes I have multiple microsoft accounts on my PC (playing with the one I didn’t buy it on)
-CPU: Ryzen 7 1800X @4GHz
-GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 iCX
-RAM: Corsair LPX vengeance 32 GB @ 2933 MHz
Haven’t tried to play offline or with today’s patch, neither have I tried to rejoin my friend… For €100 this is pretty messed up…
UPDATE: After some remaining windows updates, maybe even a chipset update (Saw a Ryzen 1.0.0.5 update popping up) and the forza patch i still got crashes. But i started noticing a pattern. I was still in the autumn season and when i approached The Great Ridge it would freeze and crash. Went to do some other events (which i could do without crashes) and got to winter season. I went back to The Great Ridge and got there without any kind of crash… Only got one crash or so in 1 hour of gameplay. I’ll keep you guys up to date if my game crashes more often again.
The game consistently crashes after an hour or so of playing, regardless of settings used. Sometimes the crash results in a bluescreen, sometimes it just freezes, but always around the one hour mark. The fps is better compared to the previous game, but it seems that this is even more unstable then FH3. Good job
Just tried to play with the new patch, 800 odd MB it was I think,
Still crashes under 15 and above 12 minutes.
Why do they ignore this issue? It’s like they’re intentionally ignoring their paying customers, I’ve made a ticket, and no response in 2 days so far.
Alright, same thing as most of people here.
Game worked perfectly 2 days, and then suddenly, yesterday night, 15-30 min interval crashes started, with one BSOD even (never had it before on win10).
Sent a ticket 24h ago, and NO RESPONSE! All that for a 100USD game, wow, great.
Get your [Mod Edit] together or you’ll see MANY refunds, and lots of lost sales because people are scared alot of these issues.
ALSO, microsoft family sharing is legal, and implementing a “secret hocus-pocus DRM” is actually something you might get sued over. I just hope thats not the case.
