I’ve had the same. 2 crashes within the space of 45 minutes however I lost over 10 super wheel spins when i restarted the game! Im furious about this and would love any advice from anyone if they know how i can get my wheelspins back. Thanks in advance
Same. I’ve been trying to play this now for an hour. And its crashed on me 2 times. As in the only two times I was even able to load the game up. The rest of the hour was spent just trying to get the damn thing to even boot up.
Trying to start the game, crashes before the screen to hit A to play even loads. More times than I can count.
Having issues where the video goes out when trying to start the game, but the music continues to the load screen where you hit A. Have to dash and close to try again. This is on top of the times where it just fully crashes and closes the app.
The game has loaded up into the actual game twice in during all this. Out of those two times I was able to be in the game at the house for about 10 minutes looking at the auto show and I did some wheel spins. Leave the menu and start to drive way, crash!
What is this garbage! Why did I pay $100 for this. I’m about to demand a refund from Microsoft. This is nonsense. How does something like this get released at a PREMIUM PRICE none the less.
Last night I was able to play for about 45 minutes, then the game locked up the entire Xbox. I had to unplug it after it was froze for 10 minutes. Now its all jacked up even worse. The very first time I got into the game today I changed to performance mode (on an X) and ever since I’ve had even more issues. I deleted the game and am re-downloading now. But its so F’ing big it will take 3 hours. I’m fed up with this right now. I pay $100 for something and it makes me want to destroy the Xbox.
Finally got this to work after contacting Microsoft. I had to delete the game and re-download again. This time not letting the machine go into suspend mode while it was downloading. Setting the auto off to never. This worked and the game is fine now. Not sure why that worked, but he said to do it and it worked. So…
Hello from KZ. I’ve got a 2gb gtx 760, last nvidia driver (411.70) and, as I expected from a new forza, game crashed every 15-30 mins. But yesterday, after plenty of crashes, after several manipulations I played for a five hours without any crashes. I dunno the main solution so I will just list all the changes that I did:
I’ve played on 1080p on low setting, change res to 1600x900 and set medium settings
Returned default control scheme
Turn on mic in sound settings
But even with this stunning success today game still crashes, and I will try to find a reason.
p.s sorry for my bad english
Yeah, same problem. CTD, no message, no nothing, the game closes and that’s it. Runs without any issues at 60 fps, except for this situation. Latest nVidia drivers, the 411 ones, did a full clean driver install, guess a patch will be coming soon.
I Fixed it finally, go to settings on windows 10, apps, forza horizon 4, advanced options, disable microphone and restore the app (doesnt requier re-download dont worry) and problem solved!
