The memory leak is indeed fixed. People just do not understand what a memory leak actually is and attribute it to the cause of all CTD’s. The problem the game has is bad memory utilization at this point. It does not leak it anymore, it just does not use it properly yet. The most common cause of the CTD’s at this point now is the game swapping data to memory and crashing the GPU driver in the process. All you need to do is look at task manager and it clearly states this to be the case for Fm7, where a gpu driver crash is instantly followed by a game CTD due to a memory error.
Also if you playing on sub-par equipment, all your doing is forcing the game to run sub-par; And with its memory issues, its only going to cause problems.
You have absolutely no clue at what you are talking about. Bad utilization/management of memory is literally the root cause of memory leaks eg. memory allocations no longer needed are not released thus overflowing available RAM. Not releasing unneeded memory allocations is bad utilization… I love how there are some people here arguing the semantics over something so obvious. The memory leak viewing cars/upgrading cars in the menues definitely has clearly not been fixed and to be honest the devs more than likely know that as well.

Hi every one. I had huge memory leak in race ( game crashed after using 12gb of ram ). Then i thought about ingame rewind , there did they store all that information about your position in time? In RAM. If you disable rewind assist, leak stops. Not so bad i think, why this function even exists in simulatior . Plus huge memory drain come up with quantity of your opponents. I don’t know if am the first one with this problem, but googling dosen’t helped me. If my advice helped please reply.
