So i am currently experiencing some really strange and annoying frame dips. I am playing at 4k at high/ultra settings with no optimization because the game runs worse with it.
But now let me get to the problem:
When starting the game the first hour or so it runs perfectly smooth capped at 30 fps but after a while it starts to randomly drop to 28/29 fps. This may not sound much but it come with an really annoying stutter for half a second and makes cornering a little difficult. I am watching my gpu usage and its pretty much always on 60% so i guess its not the gpu thats causing this which i think is really strange because my gpu is the weakest link in my rig.
I tried disabling vsync and got 45 fps but it also dipped to 40 again with this annoying stutter. I really have no idea whats going on.
Here are my specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600x 3,6 Ghz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16gb 2933Mhz
GPU: R9 290x Tri-OC 4gb
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
I hope anyone knows how to fix this. Also its really strange that FH4 optimization says that i can only play on low settings which is clearly untrue. Are there any updates i was missing because my GPU Driver is on the latest version.
