I want to make a few suggestions for class racing as a whole. now i know the Dev team has been pushing the rotating classes to make sure all classes get ran/used. But i talk to ALOT of people and it seems everyone who is interested in class racing wants the same thing. For All classes to be open all the time. I know that might not happen. But i want to make a suggestion. Something Turn 10 Has not tried yet and i know will bring players back to the game and would increase the player base for the series as a whole.
Option 1: ( B, A, S, R Classes ) Open all the time.
Weekly rotation for E, D, C, P, X. One of these classes Available Weekly.
“This Would be my choice as i like having the option to run what i want.”
Option 2: B, S - A, R classes rotate Weekly that’s 2 classes on the weekly rotation.
Daily rotation for E, D, C, P, & X. Similar to what we have going now but 3 classes to choose from.
This Option i feel gives everyone something they are relatively interested in running.
Option 3: OPEN ALL CLASSES ALL THE TIME. This is very popular. Some classes might not get races as much but this will bring back the most people. This is Forza roots.
As for the community. The people that don’t want to run the faster classes are sitting out the weeks that they don’t enjoy. Same goes for the people that enjoy the slower classes. I know this isn’t perfect and some people might not agree because the class they enjoy the most isn’t in the “Open all the time list.” But i think its a start and a good 'Test"
This B class every 8 weeks or so keeps me from really getting involved.
I really hope this is implemented👍

I’d like E, D, C perm too more love for the lower classes.
some of the closest racing happens in these classes where the wrong line can ruin your run.

great idea, lets get this done.

All classes permanently in would be ideal… But we’ll take what we are given.

I echo this. Would allow players to experiment with a wider range of cars and builds online rather than sticking with the same couple of cars.
Really should just bring back all classes permanently as nearly all social media comments sections are full of players requesting this. I assume T10 aren’t so keen as they’re well aware that the PI system needs a major overhaul

Permanent open class lobbies preferred

Public lobby’s should have all classes open even in fm7 that game launched with not all classes open and people complained and that changed pretty quick to everything opened

I agree. All classes should be available. Its the way Forza has always been. Weve tltried the rotation and it diesnt quite work IMo.
Other than that, Option 1 of yiur choices would be best yeah!

All Classes Open all the time.
Stay in same lobbies from race to race.
To be able to join on friends games without having to make them all back out to collect you and then to also end up missing the next race.
Scrap Multi class.
Struggling to commit to a game that only allows me to race what you tell me I can. Doesn’t work.

tbh my playtime on weeks when theres classes i do and dont race is hugely significant. i miss the days of jumping into my favourite hopper and doing some good racing.
all classes open should have been since day one. Most players have one or two preferred classes, the rotation system prohibits people from getting involved. When this wont become reality the suggested might be the next best thing.

Agreed, I paid over $140 CAD only to not play the game they way I was always used and wanting to play it. We got the small victory with circumventing the car leveling thing, now lets work on giving us our classes open! Please and thank you!!

absolutely with it. all classes open permanently, or option 1.

Fm7 they had all the hoppers you could just choose whatever you want wo waiting for someone to add it back to the game…
They need to go back to that design.
NASCAR has been competitive bc pi is locked and it’s car is tunable so whoever the better tuner and driver is wins. Well sometimes.
I’ve suggested other similar series like Iroc - the Camaros and the firebirds, nascar trucks, Indy, formula 1-4 style open wheeled, a permanent Mazda opened wheel hopper. But here we are still complaining and not getting what we want, and to see them be more successful and for our enjoyment.
I started FM7 over a year after it’s launch because of it’s offering of multiplayer, and having permanent open classes is what got me to eventually buy and play. I have been in the exact same position with FM ( don’t have the game ) and this would make the difference.
It’s things like this why myself and other previously regular players of the past Forza veered to other racing games and haven’t returned to this franchise. We’re not interested in a game that can’t make up it’s mind as to what it is, and today’s alternatives at least have that.
Either have more open classes to parry the open class leaderboards, or have homologation division lobbies but with division leaderboards. Either way, just give consistency to racing fans without discarding Forza Motorsport’s identity and heritage. We don’t need a GT Sport copy. We don’t even need an esports ready FM. Just have a reliable multiplayer FM.
Thanks to OP for the thread.
