I would love to see the 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm come to both Forza Horizon 5 AND Forza Motorsport. It’s #2 on my Top 5 Dream Cars and would be an awesome addition to both games!
The Giulia GTAm takes the model to a whole new level in terms of performance. On paper, the 30PS upgrade and some carbon bits may look small. However, a weight decrease of 100kg is nothing to be sniffed at these days. The GTAm package totally changes the handling characteristics of the hot Giulia, changing it from a slidey and fun super saloon to a street-legal touring car. Also, it’s sooo beautiful and just in case some of you didn’t know it yet, has a Ferrari V8 with two cylinders chopped of.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio already existed in Forza. But what about this? Well, that’s a new variation to it.
The Giulia GTAm is a track-spec variant of the Giulia GTA & Quadrifoglio. It is 100kgs lighter, and it’s the ultimate performance lineup of the Giulia range. It has no backseats, being replaced by a factory roll cage to increase the reinforcements. Meanwhile, the Giulia GTA does exist, as it still maintained the backseats however, and it’s just an ultimate performance Giulia and it’s also 100kgs lighter.
The GTA, also the GTAm, still used the same 2.9L twin-turbo V6 but has upgraded to 540HP. And the only transmission offered is the 8-speed Automatic. The Giulia GTAm is built for the racetrack, and both GTA and GTAm are sold in Europe only. Limited to 500 units each. The GTA and GTAm has also featured an Akrapovic exhaust system for a better sound and to keep up on its performance and reliability, as it can also make you feel like you’d be driving a perfect trackday car for your track-ready experiences.
Hope this comes back at next month’s update but with the GTA version. I tried two games that featured the Giulia GTAm.
2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm
The reborn Giulia GTA is a track-honed limited edition of the modernized Giulia sedan made in honor of Alfa Romeo’s 110th anniversary. In addition to the aggressive aerodynamics provided by Alfa Romeo’s Formula 1 partner, Sauber, the 2.9L V6 Bi-Turbo engine was tuned to produce 540HP of power, making it capable of hitting a 0-100kph time of 3.6 seconds.
The GTAm is the Italian four-door equivalent of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS because of its extensive use of lightweight materials including the deletion of rear seats, giving it a power-to-weight ratio of 2.82kg per horsepower.
500 of these were made and sold, and those who bought it were eligible for a personalized experience package which includes a special Bell helmet, special racing overalls by Alpinestars, a special car cover by Goodwool, and a driving course courtesy of Alfa Romeo Driving Academy.
As of now, Giulia GTAm didn’t get added recently. But we did get the Quadrifoglio at least.
Since Italian Automotive is all about the FCA Italy brands’ return, there should be a priority for Giulia GTAm to join Forza soon, in a future Horizon 5 update and in Motorsport.
