Aesthetic mods for tuners

This has probably been mentioned many times before but I thought I’d say it again in hope that it’ll get listened to.
I’m a tuner nut and love customising Japanese cars. However, there are some things missing which I would love to be brought in: neon lights, custom exhaust tips, more bodykits - bumpers, bonnets etc.

  • Neon lights --I know there are lots of people who hate neon and wouldn’t ever have it but for those who do like it, it’d be awesome if it was there to use. A modded Skyline, Supra or an RX7 (just quick examples) would look great with their body mods and neon lights underneath to make them unique to the owner. I’m sure many people get nostalgic for the race scene of the 90s and early 00s!
Of course, sticking neon on a Ferrari would be a bit weird but if there are people who’d love to do that then they’d be able to.

  • Exhaust tips --in all the Forza games there are aesthetic mods but there’s nothing to make the back end look like it fits together. Having a car with a custom rear bumper and a stock exhaust looks a bit out of shape.

  • More body mods --In all the Forza games the body kit upgrades are exactly the same, with the addition of many one new spoiler, some new rim manufactures and the inclusion of wide bodykits for certain cars in Horizon 3. I love the BOMEX bodykit for the MkIV Supra but not with the front bumper variant that’s in the Forza games. The one from The Fast and the Furious is much nicer in my opinion. I could go on about visual mods for the Supra but I’ll generalise: more bumpers, skirts, bonnets and spoilers would be nice and let everyone who loves tuning and modding Japanese cars make their cars stand out and ultimately make them unique to the driver.

I would love more aesthetic mods myself.one thing however I find very lacking… Where is the most common spoiler for the supra? The trd wing, and with the addition of wide body kits, where is the trd wide body? I have a supra in real life and would just love to give it my trd wing :frowning:

And slightly off topic… What the heck is going on with the evo? Why is it’s hp so low in game, real life I had my evo with intake exhaust and tune and was pushing over 400, on this game with biggest turbo on I can only get 500, the smallest upgrade turbo for an evo in real life will give it that.kinda breaks my heart :frowning:

Please no neon lights. Exhaust tips yes. Some cars, like the Supra for example look terrible with that tiny stock tip.

If neon lights were added in there’d be no compulsory use for them. I’d love to see them in but they’d be, as all visual mods are, optional; and if people wouldn’t have to have them if they didn’t want them

I think theyre trying to stay away from too many aesthetic mods because they dont want to be too close to need for speed, although its a little too late for that. one thing i dislike about some of the widebody kit upgrades is automatically added oil coolers or other parts. Like for the Datsun 510 i wanted the widebody kit but it has the oil cooler and its not removable from the kit, which i preferred a cleaner front look. Maybe they can add in a choice for “intake lights” or oil coolers outside in the future. Another idea would be, for aesthetic and Tuning reasons, would be to have a wheel extension setup, since some people like to have a wider wheel gap for more handling or stance reasons.

Shuriken Tiger have you played GTA V? All of those things are in that game.

I have done and I love adding neon to the cars but I get nostalgic for a Supra with neon lights - modified properly, not riced! - and would love to drive free roam in a Supra with neon underflow

PTG Jamie, Im sure alot of us have played GTA V, but we prefer Forza because of the realistic cars and not constantly being screamed at by 12 year olds, GTA V is focused on Crime and Cars, Forza is pure racing, so if i had to choose, id stick to forza and ask for a little more customization aswell

Would love to see more body parts, especially the addition of after market muffler tips and bonnets. Would also really like to see more wheels/rims, like the volk te37 ultra or forgiato wheels, which are both very popular choices along with cars with wide body kits.

Somehow some people seem to think that bringing Forza too close to the NFS franchise in bringing too much aesthetic mods would be a bad thing. I argue that if you can do what they do but better, why not? If you are looking for a simulator-like game, Horizon is probably not the best game for you anyways, just stick to the regular Forza games.

The worst part of the widebodies is they don’t add adjustable downforce. Look at the NSX for example. It has double canards on either side and a respectable wing, but it takes a turn like its on oil. Just make the damn tag say “adjustable” and fix it. Of course not all the kits should have it, but the NSX, RCF, Lamborghini all have aggressive splitters and huge wings that for some reason do absolutely nothing.
