Hi, I am also experiencing this issue, I submitted a ticket on forza support, but they didnāt help me and closed the ticket. Everything about distance is invalid, such as weekly challenge, accolades, daily challenges and so on.

I have been having this issue for over a year as well. Across 3 different devices (Xbox One, Series X, and PC) tried every setting recommendation Iāve seen and still nothing has worked. Would love to get a solution!

Iām still kindaā confused why this hasnāt been moved over to the "FH5 Known Issues Section. This issue has more upvotes than a lot of the other issues currently listed in the known section.

Not really sure why other issues might be considered significant when they have less votes than this one. Does the number of affected users determine significance? Or maybe thereās some other factors involved in making that determination? I mean, does having this topic moved to the known issues section mean itās significant either?
Anywayā¦ itās time to get this fixed. Itās ruining the gameplay experience. Figure it out please and make everyoneās lives happier.

Playing on PC. I keep having this Problem since ages now. Either the Game doesnt recognize the Car i drive (mostly the Forzathon Weekly) or it doesnt count the distance i have to drive and NONE of these type of quests work, like atm a daily said āDrive 8km or mi on the highwayā ā doesnt work.
I would have to reinstall the game every time it occurs since thats the only way to fix it TEMPORARILY. Next week with a new Playlist its again the same Problem sigh
Reinstalling fixes it temporarily? Well, thatās a new one. Ive reinstalled a few times witb no difference each time.

Worked here - must be another of those random bugs that affects some but not others.
Far too many of these things have been going on for years.
The Devs need to get their heads around why this happens to some but not all andā¦ FIX IT!
What I found with this one is you arenāt credited with the distance until you leave the test track. So for example you could drive around for an hour and do well over the distance and not be shown the the task as completed. However when you return to freeroam the task should pop up as completed.
I left the testtrack area driving to the west, driving around the volcano and short before I reached the pass north of it, I received a notification that I have completed the accolade ādrive 10 miles on test trackā.
Of course the required 5 miles were previously achieved also, but I received no notice about that, only the annoying āhit (a) for tuning your carā.
When I quitted the testtrack the daily task was completed.
The way I unlocked it was to fast travel to the test track > enter > drive around for a while > exit (quit). You wonāt get the completion notification until you exit so make sure you drove the required distance.

Even worse here. I canāt achieve anything that requires a specified driven distance. Every time I see a new accolade or daily forzathon with it, Iāll give it a try just to say I did but none of them register. Support said thanks for showing them the problem and closed the ticket. Helpful.

Same here with support, drive a certain distance has not worked on my Xbox x in 2 monthsā¦neither has weekly forzathonā¦just saying ā¦the basic game should workā¦donāt need warmed over carsā¦just fix da game!

The so called āSupportā team seems to be there only to give generic responses and keep players off the Devs back to make it look like their dealing with it whilst doing absolutely nothing.
You get more actual support in any issue from the forum members who usually find a way around issues whereas the official support team offer nothing.

Right you areā¦members do their best to help, and I know we all appreciate the postsā¦The Forza forum tries to polish the CACAā¦but all ya get is shiney CACAā¦it still smells likeā¦wellā¦u know

the āleaving tracksā accolade (which is also an achievement) does not unlock for me (drive 50 miles (80.5km) in the Horizon Test Track). I have pinned it to my screen and confirms that iām in the test track but the distance remains at 0km
- have tried multiple cars but none of them work (new exclusive cars, wheelspin cars, favourite cars etc)
- am in the test track and have tried applying upgrades to see if that does anything to no avail
- have tried horizon online and in horizon solo before entering the test track
- I am on Steam (PC)
this is the only achievement i need to get for 100% completion, but seems bugged unless someone has a solution?

There is no solution. Weāre all waiting for the developers to fix it.
