About the Forza Thon Points and the grinding, and seasons

Listen I know you dont wanna make it super easy for people to buy and then spam a rare item like a car that you would buy with forza thon points to make a ton of cash real easy in the auction house, but its a little bit too much the other way right now, as in order to get everything for a week, its 1500 hundred forza thon points

and you get a max of about 60 per forza thon every hour, so you’d need to be in the game about 25 hours to make that amount of forza thon points, As what is 1500 divided by 60, 25 exactly.
provided everyone can pass all the forzthons and get all 60 each time, and that is 60 provided you own the house that gives you double FP points while being moved into it

which kinda also makes owning the other places pointless, as your always going to be moved into this one place, this ugly house on the water anyways, instead of the nice Mansion on the other side of the lack

so you guys gotta maybe make it so instead of 30 its 40 or maybe even 50

like even boosting it so its 40, which then would be 2Xed by living in that particular home, would reduce the amount of time needed to get that max amount of points from 25 to 18 hours, and make the game far less grindy to boot, and that’s simply by boosting the stock amount it gives you by 10 points

plus I swear you guys really gotta make it so that home that gives you 2X forzathon points, doesnt require you to be moved in when you do it, as I would imagine that would probably also drastically help loading times given that instead of having people load in at that one particular spot, they would then evenly be dotted around the map

which would also include fortune island if they like that particular part of the game world far better than the normal one

IE long and short, short and long, please boost the stock number of forza points per forzathon if you pass all three challenges, from 30 to 40, and make it a passive ability that that gets doubled if you own the Lake Lodge to 80, as it would drastically cut down on the grind in the game if you did from 25 hours to buy everything per week to 18 and 3 quarters

Now the seasons, listen the summer season serves no purpose, it feels like a version of spring with less water, and it just makes the map feel rather empty and detailess when it gets to the summer season, like the only visbilie differences I’ve noticed are the quarry has water instead of mud in its pit, and the pit where a forzathon happens at the beach, the speed trap

dries out, and that is about it, like I think the game would be better if it was flat out removed, or reworked in some drastic way to bump up the map, and make summer stand oout like maybe put some actual music festival spots in it like you would see at the fun mud fests that are Wacken and Glastonberry, or maybe some car show spots like we used to have in the older games

as the map straight up feels dead when you get to that season, and that mixed in with the grinding just exacerbates the issue

like we need some more visual differences between springtime and summer, like why not have some tractors pulling across the road and leaving actual muddy tracks that screw you up during the races during the summertime or the like, as that does actually happen in proper farmland around the time their planting and collecting crops,

which do lead to actual accidents if your not aware of it them

plus fall could use some more foliage and leaves on the ground and more trees and plant life to begin with, like by far the best game I’ve ever seen do fall right was need for speed hot pursuit 2 on the PS2, which is why the glarring lack of a ferrari 360 spider with its top down in this game is by far one of the most egregious errors this series has ever done

along with the music choices in horizon 4.

As this is how you do cars, music and fall Forza

like this is summer

that is fall with the top one

plus actually where is the rain and the fog really, as it IS england after all, as it all seems to be abit toned down from horizon 3 really, and summer needs more light, spring less given the equniox and all that, hell just mess with the hues abit to give it abit more color really

like on a game series that prided itself on having some poor SOB walk around a race track and actually photograph where the puddles were during a massive rainstorm, england seems very dry, and its not as nice as germany to boot. like the world building and the flavor of it, just needs work

and I say all this as I saw some post saying may 9th is when the next expansion is apparently due out, no idea if that is just rumor or whatnot, and that Forza Point thing could really use a readjustment ASAP if for no other reason than so people dont have to spawn in on the mainland and then warp to the next expansion island or whatever everytime they load their game to keep their double forzathon points perk as it is

I understand if you just started the game and have nothing, but I rarely buy anything from the Forzathon shop. Usually the new clothes or an exclusive if one is up.

You get double FP for just owning the house. I’m currently spawning at one of the castles, moved in I mean, and I still get 60 for doing a Forzathon LIVE event.

There’s other ways to acquire FP. The weekly gives you 200, the daily challenges give you 140, extra 30 for doing all of it and you’re up to 370.* Getting the rest through out the season from LIVE events isn’t a grind if you space it out, you don’t need to go at it for 25 hours straight. If you space out the 25 events over the course of a 168 hour week, it’s not that much. Especially if you get on right as the hour hits. That’s 15 minutes of gameplay, 25 times. Not that much. *divide by half for those who don’t own the house

I have I think 970FP and have nothing to spend them on. Most the things in the shop you can just buy with credits which come more easily than FP. 600-700 sometimes for the car, 300 if there’s 2 items of clothing.

I don’t know what your summer is like, but our summers are dry and hot. The rest is you trying to see this game as hyper realistic, it’s not, it’s a video game.

The “missing” 360 Spider is the most egregious error this series has made? Sure. If you say so.

Wow, so this is what a teenager’s mind looks like.

Sorry, couldn’t resist cracking a joke.

I think the values are right for the vast majority of players right now. There two extremes of the player spectrum: those who just started and have nothing, and those who have everything. Those two extremes will always have reason to complain:

A) “I am just stacking points, I never see anything interesting to buy, give me something cool” - they already own 99% of all cars, so the chances of the forzathon shop to have a car they’d actually buy is slim.

B) “I see all those cool cars and don’t have enough FP to buy any of them, decrease the costs!” - you don’t have any FP stored up, you don’t have a lot of time to play, so you see all those shiny cars just flying by and you can’t buy them.

The reality is, with minimal effort you can get enough FP to buy the cars you want.

  1. Own the 2x points house. You DON’T have to be moved in for it to work.
  2. Do the weekly forzathon challenge - 200 points right there
  3. Do the dailies, 20x7 + 60 weekly bonus = 210 FP
  4. Do 3, maybe 4 forzathon live events in a week, and you get between 180 - 240 FP. You can of course do more if you want.

That gets you in the region of 600 FP, and most cars cost around that. If you see a 800 FP car you really want, then you’ll need to grind a bit more for it, or you can just wait - the developers have said multiple times that cars will be in and out, you’ll see them again, they’re not lost forever.

Usually when people go on and on about what is so wrong in their opinion I think the same thing as the Star Wars whiners…if you don’t like it go away or make your own. There is no requirement anywhere in the world that says you get what you want no matter what. Your mother is wrong you are not a snowflake.

Summer is useful since it is mainly dry and all your grip comes into play for speed. Winter is a slippery mess, in a good way. Spring and fall are similar, some wet some dry. Mastering which cars, events, etc. per season is a skill to work on.

Forzathon points are not that difficult depending on time. The weekly and daily generate enough to start building your bank. Forzathon runs every hour so spending a day grinding on them while doing other short items in between is not that hard. I usually devote a day to running forzathon every hour and in between grind skill points to master cars.

In the end the game is what you make of it and if you can’t find a way to make it enjoyable to spend your entertainment time on then it may be time to try something else.

Guess what. We did walk away from Disney Star Wars and as a result Hasbro is losing money hand over fist and then Lucasfilm cost Disney $200 milion dollars last year thanks to the massive flop that was Soylo which was the victim of a director who decided that TLJ was going to be his own movie in the middle of what was meant to be a trilogy with a coherent story line.

And now Lucasfilm is knocking on door of the long suffering fans who walked away with their tail between their legs begging for forgivness. So ignore the fans at your own risk.
