About PO cars and Horizon anniversary

Awesome news and a much better approach to the year anniversary!

Agreed! Thanks PG!

That’s great news!! Thank you Turn 10 and Playground Games!

I got a second pair few minutes ago, PG should open the AH for these cars. I tried to sell them but doesn’t work.

Noone is going to want to buy them anyway.

ya sure, but the game is still getting new players everyday, it still sells… so it would make sense to open AH for these cars

All New players will get these 2 anyway
Same as they get the Mosler

It appears you only want to sell them because you have duplicates. That wouldn’t be fair to the rest of us who only got one set… would it?

This logic doesnt make sense. If he wants to sell duplicates, then so what? It doesn’t affect you and it’s not unfair at all. Maybe someone has these cars and doesn’t want them, even if it is only one set, but can’t sell them on the auction house, but can’t, they can remove them from the garage. How is that fair?

Well, I did attend the Mixer Event but, for whatever reason, did not receive the cars. PG acknowledge the problem and in turn, is sending a set to everyone… Seems respectable to me.

But if those that did get the original set plus the “everyone” set ended up with two sets… if they sell a set they have the advantage of extra credits. This should have been allowed for everyone who attend the mixer event not just the ones who ended up with two sets.

So, as you say, if they have duplicates, let them remove a set from their garage, not allow them the advantage of extra credits as well.

Actually, it really doesn’t matter to me… at this point I’m just disagreeing to be obnoxious…

As if extra credits is somehow advantageous in this game. Lol

Very awesome Forza. This makes it a fair situation for EVERYONE around the world. You have redeemed yourself in my eyes.

Exactly. I still have hope in you

I have pre-ordered UE and those are my first PO cars. Finally

This was a huge unexpected surprise when I logged in today. Thank you very much.

The only difference from the standard versions of these cars is the text in the title saying pre-order. No other differences at all that I can see.

Everyone got one, and the difference is in the tuning as well.

It must be very subtle differences in the tuning then because they are virtually identical to the standard versions in every way. There’s certainly not enough differences for them to be regarded as some sort of special car.

I may quote myself from the other PO-thread:

"I ran the AMG GTR PO and Nissan GTR PO against their normal counterpart on S900 on my test track.
AMG GTR PO AWD V10: 5:50.319
AMG GTR AWD V10: 5:51.872

They have basically identical power/weight ratios. The only advantage of the PO are the wider rear tires (375 vs. 365).

Nissan GTR PO: 5:49.713
Nissan GTR: 5:51.971

Here the difference is a little bit bigger, mainly because of the lower weight/higher lateral G of the PO. Like the AMG it can fit wider rear tires (325 vs. 315)."

They have a few differences (the GTR more than the AMG) but as can be seen above on S900 it’s not much. The racing V12 (which the normal counterparts can’t fit) can’t be used efficiently on S900 and for S2 998 the chassis’ of the cars are simply not good enough - the AMG can’t even reach 998.

They are more a collector item - or better were a collector item - than they are a huge performance advantage.
The McLaren 720S PO and Porsche GT3 RS PO on the other hand are basically new cars. Given the nature of PO cars of being tuned to the maximum of their counterpart’s class those two have beefed up tires, chassis and aero to handle S2 998.

Erm I didn’t watch a single second of it and went on earlier to find I’d been gifted the cars, how’s that happened?
