About Crossfire Support,

Hello Everyone.

This may sound silly and potentially pointless, but I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to enable Crossfire on this game, without knowing if DX12 is doing it already. I use an AMD R9 295x2 with an AMD FX 9590 with 16 Gig’s of R9 2400mhz RAM and an Asus Crosshair V Formula Z on my pc.

The thing is, I can run the game at max settings, which show as 3800x1800 I believe. I have 3D enabled on my PC so it doesn’t show full 4k numbers, it rounds them down to the 3800 option. I have it maxed out currently and on Ultra, and have set the Framerate on screen option and it hovers at 60FPS, dipping at 59 or so here and there. My only thing is, I’d like to know if the game is doing it with my Graphics card using both GPU’s or if it’s only one.

Normally, I can set everything up for my games through the software in the Gaming section, but since this game is an App that sets up with it’s Folder hidden standard in the C:, it’s impossible for me to find the EXE to add it to my Gaming settings on AMD’s Crimson drivers. So, is the game running both GPU’s without letting me see it since it’s there, or am I just getting that great performance from a single GPU on my card?

The games graphics are simply staggering, and getting such high fps on 4k settings is also breathtaking to see. But I can’t stop wondering if it’s doing it with a single GPU or both.

Thanks for any info anyone may have.

I’ve got almost identical rig except I have the AMD 9590 on the Sabretooth Rev 2.0 + 2 Sapphire 8GB R9 290X’s, these have LED lit logos that are Blue idle, yellow under load, red when maxxed out.

Just ran a few races and kept an eye open and saw GPU1 yellow, while GPU stayed blue at all times. so I think Crossfire doesn’t actually work.

On a side note sounds like you have VSync running given the fps sat right on the refresh rate of the monitor, yes I’m running on 1080p (seriously want custom res support as my rig is 5910 x 1080), but with VSync disabled and fps unlocked I am seeing 88-134 fps but get 60-59.97-59.74fps when Vsync is on.

I have to say it’s MUCH smoother with it on though.

From what I have read Windows stores UWP does support crossfire/sli so long as the game itself supports it.

PLEASE Turn 10 add both custom resolutions and crossfire support, they are ESSENTIAL to some of us in the PC gaming world, it’s mature tech but I bet VR gets supported 1st in an effort to flog more headets… Great…
