I was wondering if someone knows a good beginner guide to tuning in Forza 7.
I’m not that much of a car guy I get the gist of some tuning aspects like tweaking downforce, but i’m not very familiar with many of the more obscure parts like anti-roll bars, caster angles etc.
Forza 7 also doesn’t feature a Simpleton Tuning mode for people like, kind of how like NFS Shift had that, where you toggle between an in-depth technical tuning panel or a noob-friendly ‘increase this to turn better’ slider panel.
Here you go buddy:

This is a stickie in the Tuner’s Garage part of the forum. Lot’s of good information there.
I would suggest looking in the Tunning section on the forums. A lot of the tuners don’t mind sharing some tips and there should be some of their techniques stickied. You can also look in the fm6 section too for tuning guides.
.
W0rm’s guide is the one I learned from, along many threads started by other Tuners. Check the FM5 & FM6 Tuners area.

I went through a lot of the guides and gave tuning a shot on my Formula E car. I managed to get it to a decent top speed (242 kmph) while focusing on cornering and and a minor shift towards Acceleration. I feel the car drives a lot better now, but from time to time, the rear of the car will still have a tendency to slide out coming out of turns or when applying to much rotation to the wheels. It’s perfectly controllable, but I just wonder if it’s possible to tune a car like that to have almost to no oversteer, or will cars always have a certain limit of limits of controlling grip/over/understeering? I realize that certain types of car are just built on an inherently different aerodynamic principle (e.g. muscle cars).
What I ideally want to build is a Formula E car that can cornering like a F1 car to the extend possible.
