#67 Renesa Performance Mazda RX-8

Hi,

I took some time to figure out how I want to start this series of race paints and I finally figured it out. lol This will be the first…

I picked the RX-8, and took a lot of inspiration from a S14 drift paint I was looking up on google. “Renesa” is sort of a play-on “Renesis.” heh I kept the dark grey, Black, White, and blue color scheme throughout. The paint covers half the side, back and roof with a very motion feel throughout.

I’ve reused some of the older decals from my past two paints, but this is comprised of new ones such as Takata, Illest, Seibon, Jun. Also the thing that will help put all of these designs together will be the numbering plate which all paints will have that for this series.

I let the blue motion lines extend from the top and front. The Numbering is on the right side and many of the decals are lined up on the left side, just basically ones that I gave a black outline with. Plus I added 3 decals in the dark grey to match the graphic on the roof.

I really like this one, I think overall it really feels like a race/drift paint, plus i’m feeling more and more at home with the paint editor. I’m definetly building up my library of vinyls to utilize and I do think that it’s a good start to this Midnight GT series.

It’s already up on my storefront for you guys to check out. I plan to do one paint per week at least for this series, but I’m gonna start getting ideas together for the next one after i’m done with the previous paint. Anyway I’ll probably lump the rest of the paints into one post next time.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think, and I hope you guys enjoy.

I like it! Can’t wait to see what’s next in the series!

Very nice work!

very nice work indeed , great to read your backstory on it aswell

one thing I might (/will) suggest is … try to put your logo’s in line with the car to know what degrees this is just put a square on the side make it wide and line it up with the lines of tjhe car like the bottom of the doors or edges on the side, imo it’ll look (much) better.
