So I came back to Forza for a bit of drifting and while thinking to myself, I thought “Hey, lets do some cheap builds for the people who keep asking me for a cheap way to drift and have fun!” So I kicked on my stream and set myself a price. $50,000 credits including the car. Now I knew the best way to do this was to scour the Auctions for cheap cars so I had the most amount to put inside of the actual car. So I set up an Excel Spreadsheet to keep track of the costs and set myself at a $5,000 limit on cars. Next thing I did was made sure that the cars that I bought and used were already RWD or AWD since I can tune both. While this was extremely fun, it wasn’t exactly easy. So then, the challenge started.
Initially I thought of only doing a few cars, but then I thought, that would be no fun! So when I got to 5 cars, I kept going. I figured that at about 10 cars, I would consider this challenge over, but I manage to get good prices on 11 cars. So here are my results…

I believe only 2 of these vehicles (the Fiat and the Miata) needed an engine upgrade as I didn’t believe it would naturally have enough power for good drifting. All vehicles meet the criteria of having $50,000 or less with the purchase of the car. I have tuned every car and shared the tune as well under Drift > Beginner > Cheap Drifter. I hope to do more of these and might even try a 40K and 30K challenge, but the 30K challenge will be harder and does not leave much room for power over what I normally put under the hood for ease. If you would like to see more things like this, please post and let me know and I will try to work on more of these types of builds, and even if you want to see a certain type of build challenge like a 550HP or less car group or groups. I like to challenge myself in hopes of making it easier for others. If you happen to catch my stream while I am doing this, then you can see what goes into the car and mimic it to your own vehicles so you don’t have to use my tune!
