<50 (?) cars in FM remain to be revealed - analysis and predictions [Update 2023/9/15: +27 cars]

Eh, no.

Forza was about being able to buy and a upgrade regular car and go track racing with it. Not to mention classic cars

Not everyone wants high perf, super or hypercars only.

Oh yeah there’s a lot more that was revealed during that showcase, like the Maserati Ghibli Q4 or a Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing (i think)

What is the red #4 car?

Honestly, no idea

So Turn 10 does have the license to use Lancia. So, does that mean we can actually expect a return of the brand in Horizon 5 at some point? I know you specifically can’t answer this. I’m just wondering outloud rhetorically.

We’ll have to see, from what i know through my contacts, they could be limited to just track-racing (or it could be Toyota 2.0)

@SechsComic73130 Hmm
Where have you seen the Lancia? Because it’s not listed here, unfortunately :frowning:

I think that’s a Bluebird then, could’ve sworn it was a Lancia, whatever, i blame it on the Mandela Effect

Glad to see the 323GTR is there. This is a car I was really hoping to see added to the Forza series and one of my favorites in FH5.

I was most concerned that the FM8 car list would be boring and full of racing cars and hypercars.
But I’m glad to see that at least some of the models exist that are more like traditional Forza and would be ignored in other games.

FM series was a series that from the very first film had models like the PT Cruiser and Camry Solara that were neither high performance nor hypercars.
If it loses its soul and becomes a common and boring and serious racing game, it is no longer Forza.

Definitely early Can Am (McLaren or Lola), not sure what model but looks to be '66-'68 ish.

Most probably this: 1966 McLaren #4 Bruce McLaren Motor Racing M1B - it’s on the latest list

Yep, it’s the Bluebird that is in FM7 (Coca Cola livery).

That gives me (mild) hope we will see a few more Can Am cars that are new to the series.

Okay, I’ve updated both lists:

  • The first list has 15 #New-to-Motorsport cars from Forza Horizon added.
  • The second list has 22 more cars returning from previous Forza Motorsport titles, including one from FM6. I’ve also done some shifting between two categories of probability there, e.g. V8 Supercars are now marked as “highly probable” to return (due to 2017 Holden Commodore being revealed yesterday).

What’s interesting, there are still no SUVs confirmed for Forza Motorsport, despite the fact that launch car roster looks to be immensely diverse and unique (and I love it). I don’t think there won’t be SUVs in the game at all, but at the moment it seems that T10 carefully considers what cars to reveal to not compromise the impression of Forza Motorsport being a paradise for sports and race cars lovers.
