2nd post regarding my ban

Hi.

About a week ago, I got home from work to find out that I have received a message from turn 10 saying that I have been banned for 162 hours.

I have no idea why i have recieved this ban. I drive clean in multiplayer sessions. I don’t use a microphone when I’m online, so I can’t be banned for inappropriate language and I have only uploaded 3 vinyl groups that are very child friendly. I would find it very hard to believe that someone is offended with what I’ve uploaded. (I will link pictures to the vinyl groupes)

Steps taken so far:

  1. Send an e-mail to forzafb@microsoft.com - I have e-mailed them on the 5th April, 8th April and requested an update on the 9th April. I dont get anything back from them other than an automated email saying " Due to the volume of mail we receive, we cannot individually respond to all e-mails sent to us"

2nd. Contact microsoft directly and see if they can help me. After speaking to a someone called Julius K, he has advised me to create another post on the forza forums. (I will add that part of the conversation at the bottom)

I wouldn’t normally create a 2nd post about the same topic. But i was advised to do so by microsoft.
The only thing that i want to know is the reason why i was banned so i don’t go making the same mistake in the future.

Thank you for confirming that. I will have this forwarded as a feedback report to our Xbox Live team for review. In the meantime, you can do these steps on your end:

  1. Send a follow up email message and check your inbox, spam and junk folder for any filtered replies.

  2. Send a new email message using a different email address with a different domain (in case there is a restrictions with sending/receiving message on your current email domain.

  3. Create a new thread post in the Forza page and indicate that you tried emailing via forzafb@microsoft.com as advised in your other thread post but is still yet to receive a reply. The moderator may have locked your initial thread post considering it as resolved.

Your previously post was answered, telling you to send an email to Turn 10 at forzafb@microsoft.com. However, because of the volume of emails they receive, answers are not instantaneous except for an automated response directing you to these forums, where usually the question is already answered in a thread somewhere.

Your ban, a seven-day (168-hour) first one as placed by Turn 10 employees, was not the result of anything you’ve created in the game, but for unsportsmanlike violation of the Xbox Live Code of Conduct, i.e., wrecking and crashing other people attempting to play in online races. In the future, should you receive another ban, it would be wise not to attempt posting items to these forums which you have deemed as unoffensive. Those types of posts, if the items were a violation, could also result in a forum ban.

Neither bans nor the enforcement of the Code of Conduct are discussed on these forums.
