2015 Mustang Has Some Errors

Manufacturers numbers should always be taken with a grain of salt. If Turn 10 does testing on the car they are given then those are the stats in the game. Will they match the manufactures numbers? Probably not.

The 2015 Mustang GT is already out on the streets, my next door neighbor has shiny new black one parked in his driveway right now. I was walking around it yesterday talking with him about how accurate the model in Forza is, visually. He works for Ford.

I haven’t liked a Mustang in so long I forgot what it felt like, but this new one is a classy machine. I dig it. I’m lobbying to go for a spin this weekend.

Manufacturers like to fluff out their stats all the time Jaguar claimed the E-type could do a 150mph when truth was it was only the tuned up Press test cars that could do that speed.

The glitched paint areas in the top of the front fender/hood corner/door area and on the hood vents bothers me more than the HP and weight discrepancies.

Speaking of taking manufacturers numbers with a grain of salt, Ford has notoriously under rated the HP of everything performance oriented since the debacle with the 99 Cobra. They’ve had cars put down at or near the flywheel rated HP at the wheels. Turn 10 probably used what they measured at the wheels on a dyno for the numbers in the game since they had to have had it all set and ready to go prior to Ford announcing the numbers.
