Seems like the 2015 Mustang GT/GT350 brake lights are always illuminated and have the surrounding black trim looking red. Please note this picture is WITHOUT me touching the brakes. I compared it to Forza 6 and this scenario is how it looks with the brake lights active.
It’s probley because it’s prone to going into crowds…

There was an IMSA race this year they flagged a driver to bring the car in because the brake lights were always on.
there are lots of light mistakes in the game 
for example in some sunshining races they are on in others they are off outside the car but the interior is full of light
Add it to the list of car errors.
Just off the top of my head:
2017 Nissan GT-R - Wing-mirrors randomly disappear, brake lights don’t work.
McLaren 570S - Wing-mirrors randomly disappear.
BMW M4 FE - Endplates for the Forza rear wing separate themselves from the wing and appear near the front windows if damaged, chase camera position is wrong.
2016 Camaro SS - Left pair of exhausts disappear most of the time (6 races with it so far, they only appeared once).
Lotus 3-Eleven - Can see through the interior to the track from chase cam.
Chevy Nova - Brake lights also light up the reverse lights.
Ariel Nomad - Tires clip through walls/cars/objects, front wheels don’t steer.
Cadillac ATS-V - Transmission is totally inaccurate, no long can LS3 swap like in FH3.
E39 M5 - Weird cut/dent things at the top of the back window while driving, don’t appear in photo mode/Forzavista.
HSV w427 - Rear window frame flickers randomly, kinda distracting and obscures the 3rd brake light.
McLaren M8B - Standard wing disappears when starting the race, can replace it with the optional shorter wing and that one will appear like normal.
Nissan V8 Supercar - Wrong rear wing, wrong wheels.
Stadium Trucks - Front tires don’t steer.

how can there be so much mistakes?
