Xbox one 1st gen, digital copy forza 7 ultimate edition.
Sometimes sound is very distorded, sounds like broken speakers.
Where: Mostly on the Praque and Long Beach tracks.
When: When there are a lot of sounds together. I.E. when multiple cars crash, on curbs when lots of cars close by, when crossing tramlines in Praque etc.
I had this as well with Forza 5 digital edition, it didnt get solved by patches. I didnt have it with Forza 6, hard copy.
What was tryd to solve is: -When I had the problem with Forza 5 my Xbox one was replaced under warranty via the Xbox exchange program. No different result.
-Tryd the Xbox on different tv, different sound system, earphones. No different result. Tryd it with Forza 5 and Forza 7.
-Changed to higher grade HDMI cable. No different result. Tryd it with Forza 5 and Forza 7
Sometimes the engine sound keeps hanging. Engine note stays the same even when breaking, shifting, aplying the throttle.
When: Random
Where: Random
Workaround: Rewinding.
Please not merge this thread with the carsounds related thread as this is a complete different problem.
Same here I thought it were my speakers I was like [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] also on Dubai with the fireworks and crashing of the cars together the sound gets very very laggy
Car: Volvo #1 Volvo Polestar Racing S60 STCC, Track:Dubai
Extreme sound clutter and distortion makes the game almost unplayable. It gets progressively worse the longer the race.
This is a tech support and help forum, so please support or help!
Does T10 even read this?
As seen in OP I had this in Forza 5 as well, it never got fixed, result, I harldy played Forza 5. It was fixed in Forza 6 so I dared to buy the Forza 7 ultimate edition and it is the same sound misery all over again!
Went to xbox support, they had me do a hard reset of my console, delete local save games and reset console to factory settings. No results, game unplayable now due to souns clutters, distortions etc.
Now xbox support is going to try and contact T10. Forza 5 had this same problem, it was never fixed in 4 years. So what are my odds this will get solved in Forza 7?
So far, Xbox support spent many, many hours helping me solve this problem, unfortunenatly with no solution. And Turn10…they never even send a acknowledgement of the problem.
I really, really hope they will now!
I can confirm that the same happens in my game. I’m on Xbox One.
In a career race, full grid, middle of the pack - cars started bumping around or every time I would crash into someone or the other way around - I hear a horrible crackling/static like sound. It’s pretty much the same issue from FM5, where I would hard reset to get rid of it but it would eventually return in full grid races. So the longer you race, the more it can be heard.
There’s also engine sound from the AI cars aroud me rapidly cutting in and out. In addition, I’ve come across a rev hang issue that happens occasionally. The same rev hang issue from Horizon 2.
Maybe it’s the RAM maxing out or something. Maybe better optimization in a patch can resolve this. There’s another thread on the topic I believe, titled “cracking audio xbox one” or something like that. Probably got pushed back. You can find it.
I have the same issue. It seems more common with tracks that have multiple long turns Suzuka, Prague, Monza, Maple Valley and Barnese Alps for examples.
More and more have this very annoying and sometimes gamebreaking issue, and yet, it is still not added to known issues and still no word from T10, on fora or email responce…
