Okay…Okay, the car packs are fun, usually there’s something in there I quite like, only to be redirected into oblivion after trying the cars out.
Why do I buy them then ? Because they add, and adding I find good, there’s no such thing as too much cars.
But hey, this is not a rant topic. Not at all.I Really totally, utterly, abso-effing-lutely love…LOVE the 1990 Renault Alpine GTA Le Mans.
This car is stunning, (since I grew up in the 80-ies and 90-ies I am REALLY fond of stuff from that era and being spoilt already with the Group B Cars) I’ve always dreamt of this one, the Countach and a Renault 5 with the big , huge, humongous bodykit ;).
And BAMMM…there the Alpine is, it sounds really good, engine wise, it handles nice and it’s just well…Stunning.
I found out about the car’s existence some 18 years ago. I was fascinated with it (and disappointed it was not exported to the US) right away. I’m happy to be able to finally add one to my digital car collection and drive it. What a fun car!
I like the car too. I came across it through Google and I always wanted to see it in a video game. And not only that, in beautiful graphics and details. Great job T10 and PG! Wish we had them in the US though.
This car truly feels great to drive. I love the styling.
In fact, I’ve never driven this before in a video game, and it’s already one of my favorite cars in real life as well. I’m not exaggerating, this is exactly how I feel about it.
I like to take the rear engine cars and make them FWD (by making them AWD and setting all the power to the front since there is, sadly, no actual FWD conversion). Out of all the cars I’ve done this with, this one handles the best - and I haven’t even spent time tweaking the tune to make it manageable like I had to with the others.
I agree about the Renault Alpine GTA Le Mans. I love the handling and the sound of the V6 Turbo Engine is awesome. it is the best car from the carpack!
One of my dream cars when I was young. I through together a very mild tune on it, added AWD (to counter it’s rear engine weight distribution.) but not expecting it to help much, and damn that thing handles well. Love it.
