Q: Has Forza LINK replaced the Quick Chat?
You will still have the option to use Quick Chat messages as a part of the Forza LINK feature, which additionally tracks your and other players’ behavior to give everyone more contextual options for chatting, such as communicating specific locations, races and game modes to others.
Why can’t we have just plain old game chat back?? I would much rather mute an individual instead of having every vehicle at a start of a race block turn 1 with those darn chat boxes.
I’m pretty sure you can turn off quickchat now. I know I have it off. I’ve turned off everything but the lap/timer, and the only reason why I have that still on is because you need it sometimes, especially when playing co-op.
Some of the UI settings control multiple things, so you might have to play around with it. I can still hear the quickchat notification, but I never know what they say ever.

I have it turned off on FH4 so no problem there. I just wished they would have left it out of the new game.
FH4 multiplayer was so boring when there was no one talking.
