Your Favorite Test Drive Track?

Alps Festival course.

I always used to tune on Maple Valley, that was my go-to track. Now it’s Watkins Glen.

I personally use the Top Gear test track to get the basic feel for how fast I can push my car through a corner, and then I take it on different tracks based on what I am trying to do with it.

High Speed- Le Mans
High Speed and Cornering- Watkins Glen
Average- Spa
More Based on Cornering- Laguna Seca

It was Camino Full. But now I like Madza for my driving style.

I know a lot of folks used to say Suzuka was a good test track, but I hated that track LOL

For those saying they used to use Maple Valley as a test track, Lime Rock Park is very similar in layout to Maple Valley (I think I heard somewhere that MV is actually heavily influenced by Lime Rock).

I used to use Maple Valley as well and now I use Lime Rock Park. I also used to use Road Atlanta and now I do still use that in addition to Bathurst.

Yeah, it’s Catalunya for me as well. Club circuit works wonders for drift setups while the GP circuit tests the car very well at both high and low speeds.

Occasionally Spa or Sonoma can be good too, though that’s more because I’m very accustomed to those tracks already and know how and where to push each car.

I can see why people would like Suzuka, it has a nice mix of different corner types. The longer Grand Prix circuits in general seem to do well at this.

I use three tracks, depending what car:

Circuit de Catalyna GP
Road America west
Brands Hatch GP

Good mix of hairpins, chicanes, flowing bends, bumps, straights, tbh just about everything i need to get a good generalised setup.

Although i do tunes cars for specific tracks,
Mainly; Lime Rock, Bernese Alps and Daytona infield.

: )

When I start working on a tune, I like using Laguna Seca and Spa-Francorchamps. Once I get my base tune done, I’ll take it out to the Nordschleiffe, Le Mans and a few other tracks just to see how the tune holds up in general terms. After that, it’s mostly fine tuning/tuning for specific tracks.

Depends on the kind of tune I’m doing, but anything a bit grippy I’ll probably drive on Laguna Seca, because I know that track very well and I know how a decent car should be able to take the turns there.
Pure grip, Atl short or Cat school.
Pure Speed, Old Lemons

I’ve been using Silverstone international. Thinking about adding one of the Road America short courses or Lime Rock.

I can’t test drive on the Nurb because I usually have too much fun and forget to pay attention to whats actually wrong with the car.

I much prefer something technical and boring, drab.

Road Atlanta Full, favorite track overall

Laguna Seca for me as well.

I also ALWAYS test on Laguna Seca. For two reasons: 1. I know that track almost blindfolded, and 2. It has a bit of everything…all of the elements that will push your car to the limit - if you let it.

I use Laguna Seca too, for exactly the same reasons GForceRocks does. I still miss Mugello short from Forza 4, but Laguna Seca does nicely for me in Forza 6 as it did in Forza 5 as well.

Test of
Top Speed and Brakes: Road America
maximize Acceleration and adjusting mid speed cornering: Silverstone

I prefer Road Atlanta full

+1 for Cat

Road Atlanta Full

Prague, i love that track.
