[XBOX ONE X] Constant Game Crashing

I’ve just got myself an Xbox one X Scorpio Edition at the weekend. It was a pre order that the guy never collected from Smyths Store.

I’ve played and completed all the races whilst on my previous Xbox One. I hadn’t experienced any problems in game play on the old console.

Since re-adding my games to the new console, Forza 7 and F1 2017 now constantly freezes, hangs up then forces me to restart the console, or it sometimes just exits the game and goes back to dashboard.
My other games have been playing fine, Forza Horizon 3 etc. It’s just Forza 7 and F1 2017 I have game crashing.

I have deleted and redownloaded/reinstalled it to see if that would fix it, but still happens.
The version I have is the full Ultimate digital download.

I’m at a loss now. :worried:

I am also with the xbox one x scorpio edition and also experiencing crashing not just with forza 7 but with all the xbox one enchanced games, other games that are not xbox one enchanced are playing fine.So it has to do with the game not with the console, those xbox one 4k enhanced games are not optimized well.So don’t worry you are not the only one with this problem,next time when it starts to freeze just press the home button on the controller and restart the game don’t let your game restart the console.Cheers.

Also having major problems with Forza 7. Already had to delete my saved game data twice in 10 minutes time.

I also have the same problem with my project Scorpio console. Problems have got worse since release of patch in the last week. Game freezes and asks you to delete saved data, stuttering graphical issues are now evident, along with the track not displaying correctly occasionally. Load times also seem to take longer. Graphical issues also on post race result screens. Hopefully those problems are being addressed!

I’m finding all my Enhanced Games have become unplayable on my new One X. For no reason they just crash and freeze. I’ve been searching the Net To see if Microsoft are aware of this Issue and if any patches or updates are being worked on, but can’t find anything.

In a way I’m glad it’s not just me having this issue, at least I can rule out that I’ve got a duff Scorpio Edition. :frowning:

Also having numerous crashing issues on a Xbox One X Scorpio Edition. Kinda attributed it to the Microsoft Driver Gear that always shows as New… If I use one or even hover over it (to remove the New notation), the game is guaranteed to crash as soon as I select a car (Garage or Paint) or track (Free Play). The Ford Focus RS on restart is fixed, but any crate unlocks after crashes are lost, some save setups or paints are lost :frowning:

I’d expect the amount of crashes on PC, but on console is unacceptable >:(

This happens to me on my Xbox One X, but with every Forza game I have. To this day.
