Watch at your own risk: idiot rammer inside!
Watching this you could say rammer however your driving doesn’t help.
You brake too much into corners so not taking speed and keeping revs up.
The biggest issue is you never look behind you.
The instance where the person rammed you on the 2nd race you had moved entirely into his path at the last moment. Looking behind would have got you out of that. [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D].
It’s happened before and it’ll happen again, someone uses you as a brake marker and just plows through you. Yes, it’s irritating as heck. But still I wouldn’t call other people out on that if they can be identified on the video. Especially since you, by your own admission, aren’t the fastest driver out there.
For the Trial, you might think you need a car with snow tyres, but it’s actually fine with race tyres, at least it was with the extreme handling Elise GT1 I tried it with. The Elise GT1 with race tyres is an excellent choice for the Ambleside Village Circuit race (it holds the top spots on the rivals leaderboard), and can still beat all the drivatars in the other two races.

I can confirm that at least on XBox One the Land Rover 15 miles challenge works if you upgrade the car for speed. I just throw on all the power available and drove up and down the motorway a few times. That did the trick. Keeping it in D-class (which I did for the other chanllenges) does not work. I wonder why they keep using this distance challenge. They must be aware that it is bugged.
As far as the Whitewater Falls Cross Country challenge goes, I just made a blueprint for Land Rovers only in Summer. That made it a lot easier.
If anyone knows how to get anywhere near the one or two Can-Ams that just disappear into the horizon for the Buggy challenge I’d be most appreciative.
Tried all my buggies (so all of them). Tried my own tunes and downloaded ones. The Can-Am’s just flip off into the distance no matter how well I do and usually win by a couple of checkpoints. Stupid. (it’s been this way in all Buggy championships, no other one suffers and I’ve won everything else easily).
Yes, that’s really hard to catch those Can-Ams, i still managed to win 2 races with #1107 Desert Dingo (tune shared).
Had no chance to catch it in second race, took too long for me to pass other drivatars but second place was enough for overall win.
Why are you guys not removing this buggy milage task which is not working?

PSA: if you struggle with the “Reaching Your Peaks” Championship with Winter buggies, because even at Highly Skilled and with a fully upgraded car, the Drivatars are outpacing you, try the Can-Am Maverick.
I just redid the Championship on Unbeatable and in a bone stock Can-Am Maverick, and surprise surprise, I was able to beat them, and by beat them I mean I had a comfortable lead of over 6 seconds in a car with only 1 gear.
that 1 gear buggy wins the race easily.
As for Whitewater Falls CC event with the Defender Series III you have to use a blueprint. I think that must be a mistake!
Thanks. I’ll check the tune out. I’m on PC so limiting FPS is too much for me to cope with. I might though.
I have a shared Blueprint for the Land Rover event if anyone wants to save time.
On the Quarry 60’s championship I missed a checkpoint by a mile, and the game didn’t notice. keep an eye out it might be a bug. I played a replay of the race, and missed it by a lot. I don’t use rewinds so missing a checkpoint is usually race over.
The only thing that worked for me, to get the mileage (“The Ley Of The Land”) working, was to put the racing V8 in & make sure it’s now an S1.
That buggy race with the Cam-am is nothing more than pathetic consumer-piracy, availabe while stocks last! 14 seconds between 1st & 2nd, the rest 3 within seconds.
. Disgusting practice.
The Honda Civic is doing the exact same thing…
If a Showcase is a REMIX can and how can it be repeated again to register as a normal Showcase?
