Will FM2023 run on my hopes and dreams: an AMD iGPU

Hi just wanted to get some insight from more knowledgeable folks about GPUs and whether or not this could meet the minimum requirements before I commit to getting the game.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad E14 from 2022 or 2023 with these specs:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 5825U
  • 16GB DDR4 RAM/ 12GB Available
  • Radeon Vega 8 (integrated graphics) set in BIOS to max 4GB dedicated VRAM
  • 1TB SSD
  • Samsung 27’ 2K res w/FreeSync
  • AMD Adrenalin all set to default/defer to game settings, except:
    – Global Display: AMD FreeSync, GPU Scaling, Integer Scaling all enabled

For reference, I am able to run Horizon 5 with High and some Ultra, fairly consistently hovering around 30FPS, which for my standards are actually pretty great, I have astigmatism and something else that basically makes it hard for me to focus on extremely smooth looking hi-res movements in hi-FPS games. Idk, something about the bright lights of hi-res graphics moving like that hurts my eyes.

So using FH5 for reference:

  • I cap at 30 FPS
  • 1920 x 1080 scale
  • V-sync On
  • Fullscreen On
  • Long motion blur set on Ultra
  • dashboard view only, 55 degrees
  • TAA set to 10
  • AMD FidelityFX CAS set to Ultra/1.0 sharpness

and that’s the visual fidelity I want to be able to get for FM2023.

Is this possible with my specs? I would be fine with cinematic FPS as well, max 24FPS.
Any thoughts and insights are welcome and appreciated.

Its hard to say, motosport defo have higher requairments than fh5, due to bad optimalization, and u can always use upscalling to get more fps.

The best option would be just to try it on gamepass [u can get cheap keys on net]

For comparasion, my “top end” full amd pc [7800x3d + 7900xtx], gets over 120 fps with 5120x1440 [its similar to 4k] in fh 5 on max settings, while in motosport with 5120x1440 max settings, RT off, using ta [no upscallers] i hover around 100fps, so i had to lower some settings to get stable 100fps lock. [multiplayer fps cheese]
