I gotta ask: Why are 1994 silvia Ks so desired? I’ve never been able to figure out why. Warthogs aren’t very desired, tamos aren’t desired, Quartzes aren’t desired, but why is the silvia K desired? It just looks like another silvia to me. Can someone explain this?

The Warthog was first gifted to all Halo players, and available through multiple Forzathons.
The Quartz is just useless ingame.
The 94 Siliva was only available through 3 Forzathons.
With the bodykit, it’s very very popular by drifters.
The car is very rare ingame. But the real problem is, that some people buyout every single one from the AH to boost the prices.
Some players have and offer 20, 30, 40 of the 94 Siliva for ridiculous price tags, way over the 20 million ingame cap (100,200, 400) or just try to sell it for real world money on eBay.
But as long some others are special enough to buy those cars, the ‘locusts’ will continue.
Same happend to most of the Porsches, and many other ‘rare’ cars.

Ah. That clears up alot. Hmm…So these so called “locust” buyout almost every single Silvia k and resell them for ridiculous prices? Yeesh. And I thought it was bad enough with the porsches. Try to get a flying lizard, macan, 911, and 911 turbo s for cheap prices and the next thing you know, they were all bought out for 20 million. I guess I’ll have to keep an eye out for these “locust”.

I remember way back when the first forzathon for that car happened and i missed it, managed to buy one when the auction house nuggets weren’t asking ridiculous prices. Bought mine for 2 mill, and at the time i was a low level and 2 mill was all i had lol, ah good times.
I would like 911 turbo S but seeing as “locust” buyers have a heavy presence in the AH, I’m afraid people would try to buy it out. Especially since I don’t have a lot of money. (How do people have 300M Credits in their pockets?! It doesn’t make sense!)
