What's Next ?!?

Forza Motorsport 7 comes out in October…So I know that most of the attention will be on that game instead of …Horizon 3…the Hot Wheels expansion and Forzathon is great…better than the past when only limited time events meant you might win a Unicorn…

Yeah, I don’t really think that they will be putting a huge focus on FH-3 as much here soon. All of the “unicorn” gift cars seem to have all been done.

I think it would be good for them to add one more expansion. it seems like there is such a huge gap in between the last expansion, to when they will release FH-4. I still love this game… It isn’t getting old at all to me.

Go back to FH2. Still havent clocked in those 200 online events achievements.

Why doesn’t FH3 have any achievements like this to go after?!

I’m honestly glad it doesn’t. The online mode isn’t enjoyable to me, it was a chore getting through the online ones in Horizon 2.

Actually a much better compromise l’d be willing to make is give us an achievement for reaching lvl500. Or maybe even 1000..

I’m kinda sad when l play FH3 l dont really have any target achievement to go for that’s open ended. Level cheevos are so easy to do and let the player choose their path so l wish it was leveraged more.

I think there might be a car pack releasing in August or better yet September…I think it will be connected to Hoonigan…it just seems like a brilliant marketing plan and we still haven’t got that Jensen Intercepter that many sources have said was scheduled to be in the game!

I’d venture a guess we aren’t getting it and the FH3 build these cars were seen in were used for testing in the current platform, just like the 928 GTS which is coming in Forza 7.

I also am slowly losing hope that there will be additional substantive content updates… the only thing I hold on to is the quote from Ralph Fulton (around the time of the Hot Wheels release) who suggested that something exciting is still to come for FH3…

“Forza Horizon’s focus on fun has just reached new heights with the recent release of the Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels Expansion. And despite Forza Motorsport 7 being on the horizon, Fulton hinted that there’s still more content to come – “there’s a bunch of stuff you don’t know about as well,” he teases.”

Yes and we did recieve a heap of cars via Forzathon so that comment may well have been delivered on.

The release of FM7 does not mean we’re going to stop seeing Forzathon events or the likelihood of future content updates. There might even be car packs, who knows? Horizon still has a year to go until the 4th one comes out, so you can expect plenty of happenings so to speak!

Are you new around forza
Once a new forza comes out the previous one tends to get forgotten about content wise

I’d like one more car pack to fill in the gaps and then just keep doing the Forzathons until the release of FH4. There’s no reason not to continue the Forzathons even after the release of FM7 IMO.

From what I’ve seen, there’ll be no more expansion. I’m pretty sure they hinted at Hot Wheels being the last one.

Unfortunately they tied some stats to events exclusive to Forzathon (Barn Finds, for one), which was poor practice IMO. Unless they somehow release this content in the future for late adopters. After all, we do have an Ultimate Edition of FH3 (which is not so “ultimate” considering it lacks the Expansion Pass), but not a Platinum Edition yet (which FM6 has). Could be just a matter of nomenclature, though.

One other thought on this… to my recollection (though I am sure someone can properly research it) recent Forza games have not had as long a life in terms of selling well as FH3. It remains consistently in the top 5 selling games on xbox here almost a year after its release…again, risking optimism, might this continued influx of new players motivate Playground Games to produce more content late into the game’s life cycle because it remains popular…?

I actually thought there would be four expansions because Surfers Paradise and Yarra Valley didn’t have theirs yet.

Then I realized the reason Blizzard Mountain and Hot Wheels are located in the Outback and Byron Bay is because of the airport and the shipyard respectively.
